Deeply flawed execution - don't waste your money
The idea is brilliant - convert your iPhone 5 into a triple SIM phone. However, the execution is so flawed that it makes me bang my head in frustration - simply because I know all flaws can be fixed with a simple software update of the jailbroken app. This review might be better suited for just the app but am including it here as everyone who buys this hardware will encounter the same issues:1) I cannot receive calls when the app is not open - which means if the screen is locked and the phone is in my pocket, it will NOT ring. I will simply get a notification of a missed call. Text messages work OK, although some text is cut. If the app is open on the screen and someone tries to call me, it rings just fine. This was a deal-breaker for me.2) Crashes often - the app inexplicable hangs and crashes often.3) No way to switch to airplane / flight mode. The only thing I could do is switch off the bluetooth connection to the device - but I doubt this actually turned the phone radios off, which is dangerous in flight.3) No way to distinguish SIMs - they only show up as SIM 1 and SIM 2 - would be nice to be able to rename them.4) The mute button on the phone will not mute the app - you have to do it manually. Incidentally, no way to selectively mute individual SIMs - it is all or nothing.5) New/unread text message/missed call notification only show up INSIDE the app, not as a badge on the iPhone home screen. So you have to manually check for unread events every time otherwise you can miss them.6) Proprietary charging cable. Not mico-usb and I have yet to find a way to just order an extra cable. So if you loose your cable, you are toast.LIke I said, most issues can be fixed with a simple app update, but the update doesn't seem to be coming. If the app has been updated to fix all these issues when you buy this, it might be worth it, but for now, stay away!
