Genie Crystals Generic Washable Cat Litter Replacement Granules 10 lbs

I don't understand why some people don't like these. Our cats have used CatGenie for several years, and we just tried these crystals in the brown color. Mixed them in with the original CatGenie washable granules, so the cats get used to them....just in case they were skepical...you know how cats can be. Our cats had no issues with these. I like them because they cost less, first of all. Second, they seem to be a little bit smaller than the washable granules, which I like, because we've had issues with the Washables, getting stuck in the machine, when it drains. These crystals seem to go through the strainer arm better. give them a try.

I bought these thinking they would be a more cost effective product..... I was wrong.. they have clogged up my cat genie,(had to take the whole thing apart).. they clump together and mosts get scooped into the hopper or tracked through the house. 10 pounds of these granules lasted less time than 3 pounds of the OEM product. I will not be purchasing again. I would have been nice to know they stick together, it would be nice to know if they are biodegradable, but I doubt they are. caviet emptore.. (spelling?) Let the buyer BEWARE!!!!!!

For what you save, it's not really worth it... these are okay, but they tend to stick together a little more, so not too happy with that because they end up in the hopper more often than Cat genie's granules.Also, I ordered the white, and it came in white with about 25% clear granules. The cleat granules are balls, they very hard to see on the floor, and you want to clean it up but hard to see them, and much more slippery, if you step on them watch out cause you may slip on them.

I was incredibly disappointed with this product. The granules come dirty and will clog up your genie. I had to pull it apart twice after starting to use these to scrub off a clay like dirt.These are just cut up plastic bits and the cats didn't like it at all.I just went back to the catgenie granules and my cats love the genie again.Don't get this product.

A week after I started using these, my cat genie guit working.

CAUTION The product clogged the drain twice, I had to then disassembly catgenie and clean all the parts. After the second clog and water wouldn't drain I finally had enough and got rid of the whole tray and put in the cat genie pellets.. my advice only put 10 percent of the bigger pellets per bowl. I had to hire a plumber to rod out the sewer. CAUTION. Not an alternative

These work best added to the brand name granules with no more than a 50/50 mix. I would not recommend using them alone. They do not go through the sifting slots in the when they are wet. They clump up and cause a back up in the scooper, and in the turd muncher.

I purchased these crystals hoping they would help cut down on price. They did not look anything like the picture. They are much bigger than the catgenie brand crystals and when i turned on the genie it made a god awful noise that scared the cats and sounded like it was breaking the machine. I wouldn't recommend anyone buy these because its just a waste of money.
