Great product, everyone shoud go and buy at least 1 or 2
These are great. I love the option of using a regular water bottle and being able to toss it away when I am done with it. The BottleBand works great. It stays on and does not slip at all, even my 12 y/o son was able to use it with no problem. Once we were done with the water bottle we found a garbage can and tossed the bottle away, moves the BottleBand to our wrist and away we went. No extra weight at all, and don't have to carry empty bottles around. Great product guys, I will be ordering more in the future for myself and more for gifts.

Unique Product – Very Useful
I wish I would have found this product before purchasing the Nathan SpeedDraw. I purchased the SpeedDraw at a local running store for $35.00 and sits in the back of my dish cabinet collecting dust; while this little $8.00 band sees all of the action. The clever, no frills, design can be used with a variety of sport bottles. It’s simple and it serves its purpose, period. If you are like me, and prefer commercially bottled water, you will enjoy the fact that once your bottle is empty you can discard it (responsibly) and store the band on your wrist like a bracelet for the remainder of your run. No need to carry around an empty bottle (Yay!). I also enjoy the fact that there are no reservoirs to fill or intricate parts to clean. The band is comfortable, doesn’t pinch or chafe, and can be adjusted easily to accommodate the size of your hand. I barely notice it once I get underway. Also, considering the price I wouldn’t be too upset if I lost it and had to replace it. This little gem is my new go-to hydration gadget. I’m actually thinking of buying a few more for stocking stuffers next year.Update 2/24/16 ** I am not taking any stars away from this product because I still really like it however; I feel the need to share my recent experience. Shortly after posting this review (roughly two weeks ago) I tripped over a piece of damaged sidewalk and fell HARD. Because I was unable to release the bottle I had strapped to my hand I seriously twisted my wrist and several fingers. The part of my hand that was exposed to the pavement was skinned up pretty badly but that has since healed but I am still dealing with the effects of the twisted wrist and fingers. If you use any product that attaches to your hand be aware that in emergencies you WILL NOT be able to let go of it. You may incur an injury because of this.

If you have to run with water, this is better than a running belt IMHO
Running with water is horrible. I always end up taking in too much air with the water and having belching issues--even if I slow down or stop to take sips (I know, TMI). Not to mention the inconvenience and concentration-bending effect of the extra weight and the discomfort of having to lug something around while pounding the pavement. However, I usually run 5 to 6 miles and I'm getting too old to be running without hydrating. I guess. Anyway, After trying different kinds of running belts to hold water, this is the only thing I have found that I can comfortably run with. The belts I tried always came loose and started to bounce around. With this, I can comfortably and securely hold a bottle of water, and I don't have to dig it out of a belt to use--it is already in my hand, ready to go. Also, it can fit various bottle sizes. As an added bonus, I get a mini arm work out while I run. At least until the water is gone.

Perfect for Long Distance training
I'm a long distance runner (up to the 50 mile distance) so carrying a bottle while training is necessary. I've had at least six handheld water bottles costing about $25 each which fit a little more comfortably into my hands and were less "bouncy" than this, BUT the BottleBand is my new favorite for training. I just bought my partner one too. Why: 1. really smart design. We go through multiple waters/gatorades during a run (stopping by 7-11s along the road), with a traditional handheld bottle you have to fill the bottle, there might be some left over which is either wasted or has to be chugged quickly. This eliminates that...once you're done with it, take the bottle out, put in the recycling containers and then just wrap the bottle band around your wrist like a bracelet! This also means you don't have to carry around an empty bottle and can free up your hands to swing more naturally. 2. I've found that the bottles given to you in the more expensive hand-held units are garbage. They get smelly quickly, and you have to purchase another one. Also the fabric bands become gross and smelly, have to be washed. Not so with the BottleBand b/c it's plastic.3. Durable--I've tried putting this on a 32 oz. gatorade bottle and with some stretching, it worked! Probably the ideal size water bottle is 16 oz for this unit though.I would say if you're racing an ultra, you don't want this with you---stick to the more comfortable, 4x more expensive units. For daily training, this is perfect.

Holds onto dirt, but it is ok.
I bought this intending to use it with some disposable water bottles while I ran, but I ended up putting it on my Camelbak type of bottle and it works great. I still haven't tried it on a smaller, disposable type of bottle, but if it doesn't fit well I will just use the Camelbak. The silicon does hold onto dirt and grime so I would recommend one of the darker colored options. I thought mine might have been used when it arrived because of some dirt on it, but I just wiped it off. Overall I am really happy with it.

I love using this while running
I love using this while running, and while hiking as well. I've done both a marathon and a 50k while using it, re-filling my bottle at the aid-stations as needed. It's very comfortable overall, though if my bottle drips some water down the side it gets a little slippery and moves around a bit, but it's not too bad, in fact, it's so light weight and handy I wouldn't want to be without one. I also appreciate the reminder to "keep calm"! :)
