Works okay, bit there is a problem. It has a UK power cord. They do supply an adapter for US outlets but it is cheap. As virtually all UK products it is designed for 50 Hz. US electricity is 60 Hz. The motor will run above its design speed and will wear out faster. To sell here in the US the product should be remade with a US power cord and a US motor operating at 60 Hz. The UK has few friends left in Europe. They should treat the US market better. After using it a while I need to add that it works okay as a mini-blender but it does not crush ice and I cannot make anything resembling a smoothie with it. It may look inexpensive, what it is == is cheap.
