Strong As Glass

Being a new fan of Goapeles I am very impressed by this new album! I've loved 'Hey Boy' from the first listen. What really grabbed me though was 'Strong As Glass' and so after hearing that song, decided to look her up, and buy this album. I love it and I cannot stop listening. Every song from 'Strong As Glass' to the last track tells a story. It is very rare that you have a cd where you don't skip over at least one track, but this one--I can listen to every song. I don't have a favorite, I love them all! I'm definitely going to check out Goapele's previous albums, and I am excited to see her when she comes to my town next week! I really recommend this album. The production, the way it's produced, it's just amazing! Props to Goapele and her team for making such an amazing album!

I listen to this masterpiece everyday. On each song the words are inspiring. Especially Strong As Glass, Everything Happens for a reason and Not Perfect. Keep making good music like this Goapele! Y'all better get it and learn! LOL PS, not just for women but me love it too. My husband fell in love the first time he heard it .... he kept saying play 10 over.

Very good album, much better than her previous efforts. Has a great voice that is not overpowering. Previous albums had hit-or-miss production. Very good production this time around as there is maybe only one or two songs on the entire album that I don't like. That is outstanding in today's music where if you can get two or three songs from and album worth listening to you can justify the purchase.

This is some of Goapele's best work. My only thing is I wish it had more tracks. I wanted more than just 10 tracks. I love every song on this album. It's not too often nowadays where you find an album that you don't skip a single song on. Support her and buy this album!

Beautiful!

I have always loved Goapele. Each album brings me closer to declaring her my favorite artist. Her voice is haunting, clear and beautiful. I love her depth of subjects from love/romance to social issues. She she should definitely be a chart topper but people really don't appreciate a true artist.

Love the CD, especially the last song. Next album, you should do a Sade type album; you have the voice and given the right jazz, it'll be the reincarnation of the lady who produces an album every 10 years. Matthewman, Hale and Denman; give this lady a call!

Wow!!! A Must Buy!!! Goapele is new to me, of which I am truly sorry that I did not know her sooner. I have heard her music before, but never made the connect. Daah!!! It's part of my daily repertoire.
