Solved my problem
My Soundlink Mini is a great speaker, but the battery has been a problem for some time. I purchased this replacement battery and it restored the Soundlink Mini to like new performance. It's a great bargain compared to replacing the speaker (which I thought I was going to have to do, until i discovered that battery replacement was DIY). I've had the replacement battery for about a month and am completely satisfied. If that changes, I'll update this review. Also, it was very easy to install. I am a happy customer.

Flawless
My Bose SL one battery has been on its way out for a while but it finally stopped working while plugged in. It would randomly disconnect or make crackling sounds during playback. So started looking at a new speaker from Bose, JBL, Anker but decided I didn't want one of the newer 360 degree speakers. I like my Bose. So I figured I would give the battery a shot despite the 2 fairly sparse reviews. Battery arrived quickly and I used a T-9 Torx to remove the screws. My original battery had been in there for about 5 years but came out with a little fingernail pressure under one side. Installed new battery and it fit well. The rubber base pad fits fine too. I was initially worried after plugging in the charger because I didn't get a charge light. So I turned the unit on and it seemed to work fine but only had the Bluetooth light. I turned it off and left it plugged in for an hour or so and the green charge light finally started blinking. I left it until it was solid green. TA-DA good as new. I will come back and update if this changes.

Battery did not last 3 months
We bought this battery for our Bose Soundlink Mini and it did not last 3 months. Do not buy!

Battery is too big and needs to be smaller.
The battery wouldn’t work with my speaker. It would flash red. The battery may have been bad or the device. The battery also was a bigger so removing it did require a tool.

Fits but not sure if it works.
Easy to install & appears to be the correct replacement model. Unfortunately my Bose speaker still wouldn't work with thr new battery so I don't know if the speaker is dead or it is a bad battery.

Solved the random shutting off
Soundlink kept shutting off randomly even after resetting multiple times. Replaced the battery and it works like it did originally! Great price.
