25 Pack Gloss White Goof Trim Ring for 6" Inch Recessed Can Lighting Down Light, Outer Diameter 8 Inches

If you replace your Can Lights, these are a must! My can holes were not cut very cleanly and when i replaced them with some modern LED replacements, they were just small enough that i could see the ring of the existing lights on the ceiling and gaps around the edges where the holes were too big or cut incorrectly. These saved the day making the imperfections disappear and the lights look more expensive and substantial. A simple thing but these are brilliant and should just come stock with all LED lights.

We recently bought new outside LED lighting to replace the floodlight bulbs we had. Sadly, the trim did not cover the entire area where the can was located, making the new lights look really bad. I started my search on Amazon to find a solution to my dilemma. Imagine my surprise when I found these! Goof trim, who would have thought! Obviously this is an issue for lots of people, not just me. They are the perfect size, and a bright white. The fact that they are plastic is even better….no painting, no rust. Super easy to install.

These work for the purpose intended but are a little flimsy and slick.

If you need these rings to be white as your light fixture bad news the rings are an off white almost a cream color white .. rings I had extra form another brand were snow white .gotta live them lucky the ceiling if slightly ogg white

Nice product. These feel pretty solid and went on without any issues.This give a little more depth to the light as well as helps I cover up any holes that might have been a bit to big in some areas.The only improvement that I could suggest is including an option of a rubber gasket similar to what’s available with a standard trim.

Inner diameter is smaller than listed.

I had some old 6" cans that I wanted to update with the retrofit LED with the built in trim ring. The issue, the installation rim of the can was larger than the trim rim. This was a great solution without compromising the look. It does not look like a cover up.

These rings saved ceiling repairs! I used them to replace Progress Lighting Trims & Halogen bulbs with the Halo LED retrofit trims. The LED retrofit trims were a bit smaller and did not cover the drywall cut out. The rings look perfect and do repairs were needed!
