A Modders Bag
This will make a second bag for me this one I purchased, the first bag was a gift but If I had purchased myself might have been seriously thinking of sending back for a few reasons like the clips did not hold and the material was on the cheap side. The new ones I have now appear to have fixed those faults these are much better made and the clips actually work.I choose the black/green for the color alone but one would assume they are all made the same otherwise, except for older gray/black version which I would recommend avoiding.I should note the first bag was the gray/black version the least expensive version which now appears to have an update to silver/black that hopefully fixed those issues, if they are made like the black/green version I would agree.I like these for the space which is adequate for my needs not to big nor small and that it has rigid panels so it keeps it's shape and are fairly strong, look good on my bike as well, the older black/gray version actually held up for quite awhile till started to rip. I ended up stitching it together by making holes through the necessary pieces and running zip ties through, and yes it worked for quite awhile and not all that noticeable still have them as a matter of fact but they are real beat up after many miles and conditions. If you are looking for waterproof I am not sure on these new ones at this time, there is a liner but I would say they it is water resistant at best. I keep a couple heavy plastic bags in the bottom just in case to put my valuable stuff in just in case.Anyway the big issue I have read over and over and I myself have had is with the bag hitting the wheel specifically the spokes which can lead to broken spokes, which as you may or may not know is not much fun to fix.The other thing is that the bag rips along the top, in my case it is because I had it mounted wrong. The part between the bags needs to be fully supported by the bike rack front to back and side to side, so if you don't have a proper rack you are more than likely going to have problems eventually. So I came up with a relatively easy add-on/mod that works well and clips onto the seat-stays part of frame. All the materials needed are a couple of mending plates, I used 5/8ths by 5" and some machine screws 10-32 by 3/4 and washers, couple small and then large diameter washers to increase surface area which is important to prevent tearing.I ground the excess bolt off and smoothed the surfaces down on the inner part and covered with gorilla tape, I also used thread lock instead of lock washers just because I ran out of those size lock washers.Anyway it turns out to be very strong and holds the bag firmly along with the straps in place on a proper bike rack, especially if you have to carry the bike with heavy items in the bags up stairs like I do works like a charm. And of course most important it keeps the bag from hitting the wheel, at least on my bike setup works well.Couple of pics will show the angle is important to align with the seat-stays part of the frame (that is the part from the seat tube to the rear hub) It is important for holding power up and down, front and back. The flat face of the plate should be flush with the stay, if not may not work as well as it does for me.It is best to put the first hole with bolt through in the front facing corner of the bag where the straps are that way you can line everything up and determine the best point to make the bend in the plate, other bikes will be a bit different.I also added a bit of gorilla tape to the frame.Yes I like doing this sort of thing maybe you can come up with better or hopefully easier, I think with the clips the bags will last much longer.Have fun, and safe cycling

(Single Pannier Bag) Why this is a great bag, and why I replaced it with an Ortlieb
This is a review of the M-Wave Single Bicycle Pannier Bag.Updated review after using this bag for years and replacing it with an Ortlieb:These are great bags for the money. Make sure you get and use the correct side for your bike, they are designed to not interfere with your feet, but only if you use them on the correct side. Also the reflectors are only on the "back". However, if you're going to use this bag every single day as a commuter, I recommend going with an Ortlieb (yes, at 4x the cost) if you can afford it. The Ortlieb "locks in place" automatically. The m-wave requires you to secure it using the elastic band, but even that is not very reliable. The m-wave does attempt to lock in place, but the plastic lock pieces broke off on both of my bags after enough use. The auto-locking feature of the Ortlieb literally saves me about 5 seconds every time I place the bag on or remove it from the bicycle. You may think "this guy is crazy for blowing $75 to save himself 5 seconds for every time he uses the bag". That's valid. I do use the bag a lot though. The Ortlieb's position on the rack is adjustable. The m-wave's is not. The m-wave has a boxy design which does not flex if it comes into contact with something hard. The Ortlieb will. The Ortlieb bag is waterproof, but I found the m-wave to be waterproof enough. The ortlieb is collapsible and takes up less space when empty, the m-wave is always the same size (big). If I put my bike in a washing machine, the Ortlieb would stay attached. Not at all the case for the M-wave, it would fall off. You probably won't put your bike in a washing machine but you might be twisting it around when loading it into a car, and you'd appreciate the difference then. If I were going to do a cross-country trip on a bike, I would not hesitate to use the M-Wave. But for daily use for years on end, I recommend an Ortlieb.Original review is below:summary: great bag, I've attached and detached it from my bicycle daily for the past 10 months.I attach this bag to my standard metal rear rack and it works great. It's very stiff and holds its shape well. I've filled it to the brim with containers of liquids from the grocery store (the densest thing I can remember carrying) and it's held up great. One time the corner of the bag got caught in my spokes and tore a bit of a hole in it (not it's fault), I just patched it up with duct tape and it's still going well. If you secure the side straps you can lift it at the top with that handle and carry it around while you're off the bike. It has a little reflective piece on the rear (if you mount it on the correct side of the bike) which seems to work well too. There's an elastic strap that I attach to the bottom of my rack near my axle and that keeps it in position through bumps and swaying, though the top hooks are designed to keep it secured even through bumps. I'm regularly jumping off and onto curbs with this attached and I've very rarely had it ever come loose, and when it does I think I'd forgotten to secure the elastic.

Spoilt by the logo across the side. Why? Would have looked perfect if left plain.
Spoilt by the logo across the side. Why? Would have looked perfect if left plain. Why oh why dor these companies insist on ruining the appearance of so many products with silly writing or logos. The only thing preventing me from giving this a much higher rating is it's ruined appearance by the stupid writing on the side.

Flimsy
The bag is of very poor quality and the material is extremely flimsy. The bag does not retain its shape when items are placed inside and several times the material had poked through the spokes of the wheel. I am worried about this happening while I am riding and causing an accident.

Great value paniers
I bought these in July 2020. They've served me very well - in spite of heavy regular use. They're not too waterproof but keep the worst off - if you're worried just put your stuff in plastic bags.I'm buying another set for my wife's bike - so she can carry some of the shopping :-)

Good product
Good product as expected. Not 100% waterproof, yet holds well under strong rain and cycling. Many straps to secure.Only advice for the future, to have adjustable strap on the bags as when it is overloaded with for example blankets, you can't event secure it.Apart from that brilliant product

Good for the money.
Not tested in the rain yet but looks like it would keep dry in light rain. Quite sturdy but not flexible and straps to the bike well. I fit a back pack with A4 folders in.
