These flowered headbands from MiaBelllaSophia are beautiful in person. The actual headband is soft, perfect for the sensitive skin of a newborn baby. They stretch enough to comfortably fit a toddler with an average size head. I tried them on my niece who is one year old, with an above average size head, and they were a bit too tight for her. I would recommend using for newborn-nine months, comfortably.The flower-part of the headband is soft as well, not scratchy at all. The band is sandwiched securely between two felt pads onto which the flower is attached. I gave the bands a few gentle tugs, and they do not come out of the felt "sandwich". These are simply adorable! We have a friend who has a young daughter and another expecting their first girl, so I am undecided who to gift to. Maybe split them up. They come in four beautiful, girly colors, turquoise, hot pink, purple and a soft pink. Flowers are made out of a nylon type material and there is a felt backing on each one, so they will feel comfortable when worn. Elastic band is not a narrow strip that will cut in, but is a wider, soft stretch elastic. They are very lightweight and will fit comfortably on a newborn up to a little older. I was impressed by the felt backing, because it is designed for your child's comfort. This is a really nice gift idea.I received these headbands at a discounted price for my HONEST opinion in review.
