Wanpex Premium Soft Leather Case for the Microsoft Surface PRO 3 Tablet - Black/Gray

It works well. The fit is a little crooked. I can see this across the top as there is uneven amounts of my Surface Pro 3 covered from one side to the other.But it is not critical.The only other thing I would like to see is the ability to incline the type cover keyboard. Without the case on, the keyboard can incline a little and attach magnetically to the Surface Pro 3 making typing more comfortable. With the case on, it covers too much of the tablet to allow this to happen. I can manually incline the keyboard, but it is not sturdy as when the magnetization is there. Sometimes the keyboard drops back down flat. But overall I am satisfied.

I am happy to report that this case is everything I hoped it would be. I think it's a great fit for the SP3 and keyboard. I can close the tablet and keyboard together and I do not have to force it closed. The extra strap does give it security.It still feels thin and light in this case. I purposely looked at the different cases and this one was lighter and still great quality.I like how I can fold the front cover all the way back in tablet mode.I am also VERY glad that I can still pop the keyboard up at an angle in the more comfortable typing position that is unique to the SP3. It does not magnetically adhere firmly to the tablet like it does without the case, but I like it better this way because it is easier to pull back if I need to swipe from the edge of the screen.ALSO, I don't think the Surface gets any warmer than it usually does while in this case. This case hasn't made the fan go on or anything. I haven't, however, watched a movie with the case on yet. I don't usually so I am not too worried. I was mostly concerned about it getting too hot for programs I use for work and it is fine.One more thing, some have complained about the pen loop being loose. On my case, it is tight and keeps the pen in place nicely. So maybe they refined that?Overall, I am VERY happy with this case. My only complaint is I wish the strap was a little tighter but it still keeps everything in place perfectly.

Great case for the price, it fits really well. Seems well built. I only have one concern. The top of the tablets vents are covered, especially the top right hand vents where the fan is located. It hasn't caused any issues but I really don't press the system when I use the case. Used mostly to take notes in one note when I'm on the road.

I have tried a few cases, but this is the best, in my opinion. The multi position kickstand substitutes well for the built in one, but it has shortcomings. It doesn't go all the way down, because it slips at the last position. But, I don't use that position as much anyways. Also, I don't use it without a keyboard, so that also introduces some slipperiness. Like a few people mentioned, there isn't a slit on the top where the fan is, so when it starts going hot, you can feel the surface heating up. There is a slit on the right side, so it's good enough for most times.I love the color, and quality of the case, as well as the band that comes attached to it; it's really easy to snap it on and off. I wish it was magnetic though.

W-O-W! The Cover Case looks nice in the pictures but it doesn't do the real thing justice! This is the nicest cover I've ever had on any of my portable devices.Very nice leather (not sure if it is real leather, but it is very nice). With this, I can actually use the Surface resting on my lap, as its built-in kickstand did tend to just make the whole thing tip over. Everything, even the keyboard cover, fits in nicely and is tucked away beautifully, making it look like a nice notepad-portfolio. The rubber band is nice and tight and keeps everything together.In my opinion, a must-buy for any Surface-owner.

Very good cover. makes the surface pro3 even larger that it already is but it adds protection which is a good thing. it works as it's suppose to. good buy.

The first case I received was not that good, but Wanpex responded by sending me a new one that has fixed all the issues I had with the previous one. Holes at the top allow for proper ventilation of the Surface Pro 3. The material has a nice,premium cushion like feel to it. It's pretty light, and looks pretty high end given the price. Because Wanpex resolved my previous issues (bad ventilation, warping rear material, adhesive leftovers on the inside), I am upgrading to a five star review.
