Exact replacement
Worked like a charm. My previous battery cover/switch broke. This one went on without much fuss and worked just as good as the original one I had bought 8 years back. One note, you need to install the retention arm before reusing the metal bar/pin. If you install the bar from your old cover first you will not be able to properly install the new cover.

OEM replacement
It's factory original part. After a few years of use this part sometimes breaks. I've got 4 different ones and this is the second one I've replaced. This part lasts for years but then fails. Good light but parts eventually break. It had been installed on a Glock pistol for over a decade.

Quick fix
Good product so far. Repair to an expensive functioning light with a broken switch. Easy fix and worth the $. It's easier to insert the retaining pin with the door closed in place.

Perfect but..
This was exactly what I needed to repair my TLR 2. It fits perfectly, however the most crucial part of this replacement is not supplied. The pin. I don't know why they would sell this without the replacement pin, because if it breaks like mine did, at the pin, and you don't realize it, the pin can be lost without you knowing while the light rests against your trigger guard. I looked for a while on the interwebs to find just the pin and was frustrated. So the adhd kicked in and I tried a safety pin, too small. Then I saw my contractor loading finishing nails into his air nailer and asked for one. I cut it down to size and it was a smidge too big so I grabbed the dremal and sanded it down to size. Doesn't take much, and I made 3 just in case. As for the cap itself it fits perfect and is good quality. Hopefully my pin solution helps someone who has the same issue. IF YOU HAVE YOUR ORIGINAL PIN SAVE IT.

Worked great to replace my busted one for my TRL1HL. It does NOT come with the pin however. Just the door.

Broke first use, No warranty or help from seller
Disappointed purchase. Took week to ship, two + weeks for it to arrive and it failed and cracked first range trip. Tried contact seller and they don’t accept damaged or broken returns!!!!Had to open A-Z claim to recover my lossAlso contacted streamlight and they advised that these parts are COVERED under lifetime warranty and are FREEBuyer beware, I won’t ever buy from third party again on here
