Kärcher 2.644-074.0 T7 Plus T-Racer Surface Cleaner

I’ve got an older model K4, this worked so much better than just the lance for cleaning the drive and patio. I had to change the inserts, which come in the box and is just a simple case of removing the cotter pins and swapping them out on the end of the rotating bar and is easy to do, takes 30 seconds. This is the first deck cleaner I’ve had so i can’t compare to any other model, however, I can say that this model makes cleaning so much faster and far less messy. I cleaned my drive & patio and also my mom’s patio (which is a decent size) in the same time it used to take just to clean my drive with the lance alone. The foot button on top that turns it into a sweeper is priceless and works really well. The corner jet, which is another button on the top, works ok but the lance does a better job imho. I figured out that the best method is a bit like painting a room, cut the edges first and then zip over the main area with deck cleaner attachment - which flies over a large area really quickly, and you don’t need to go slow, it lifts the dirt off really well with a moderate pace pulling it over the surface. If I had to be picky, I’d say Karcher should abandon the corner jet and sell the item cheaper with the saving, as it isn’t that useful. Where I was surprised was the double extension pieces, which I thought would be awkward and wobbly, but they actually work great and I found that using one of the extension pieces makes using the lance 100% easier, I couldn’t believe the difference! Everything else is just brilliantly better. Clean up is a delight - and wiping down doors and windows afterwards almost goes away, which is the bit I hate :-) HTH

I recently purchased the Kärcher 2.644-074.0 T7 Plus T-Racer Surface Cleaner to help me keep my deck and patio clean during the summer months. I was impressed with the cleaning power of this device and the ease with which it tackled tough dirt and grime. The Kärcher T-Racer Surface Cleaner was easy to attach to my pressure washer and the spinning nozzles quickly and efficiently cleaned my outdoor surfaces. The wide cleaning head meant that I could finish cleaning large surfaces in no time, which was a huge time-saver. It also didn't leave any streaks or damage my surfaces, which I really appreciated. I was particularly impressed with how gentle it was on my deck, which can be quite delicate. It uniformly cleaned the surface, without stripping any of the wood grain or causing any kind of splintering. My deck looked brand new after cleaning with the Kärcher T-Racer Surface Cleaner. The only downside is that this accessory is a little expensive, but the durability and performance of the device make it worth the investment. Overall, I'm very satisfied with my purchase of the Kärcher 2.644-074.0 T7 Plus T-Racer Surface Cleaner and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a powerful, efficient and gentle surface cleaner.

I have the K7 and I had an earlier model of the patio cleaner which suddenly stopped working. I purchased the T7+T-Racer and it does have useful features. I have extensive block paving to the front, side and rear of my property and my first niggle is I don't get a hover effect over the blocks you have to push it along like a vacuum cleaner which can be tiring. The second niggle is I don't like the two extension rods. The whole thing seems flimsy and they tend to bend slightly when the unit is pushed along. I use only one and finds it works better. The front and side jets are useful, but I found like as not you need to release the gun trigger and operate the selection foot presses whilst he raced is not working. That said I found it a useful bit of kit, it worked well, though it didn't glide over the surface and I still found the need to use the lance as a final rinse. As to value for money it isn't cheap and I suspect occasional domestic use would sum up its working potential.

Perfect for cleaning decking and drive way. It’s better than I expected, the extra built in jet wash from the front is very handy, and saves swapping over to the vario lance attachment. Well worth the investment over T5 racer

Absolutely brilliant! What a perfect accessory for your Karcher machine. This was a God send and done a brilliant job of my patio and large drive. Powerful and sturdy enough to get through heavy staining and the pièce de resistance was the jet spray function at the front which helped shift the dirt that came up. Absolutely fantastic piece of kit and delighted with my purchase.

This racer is worth the extra money as it’s fitted with a spray on the front which moves all the mud created by the cleaner as you go along. It also cuts the time by about a third as to using just the lance I had to change the jets for the different coloured ones (provided )so that it work better with my old mark 4 machine.

Having had an earlier model for a k2 I was expecting that this more expensive version would be better in comparison. Definitely sturdier and resulted in less soaking of the feet compared to our previous one. However would likely have had better results quicker if hubby had read the instructions!! We have a K4 and should have changed the spray nozzles that were also included as I suspect this would have increased the pressure of the spray! Two kinds of nozzles were included so that it can be used with different karcher power washer models. Great that you can change the spray type pretty easily with your foot which means less switching between attachments. Compared to using the high pressure lance that comes with most Karchers? Pro: less soaking of the feet and probably quicker to cover a larger area Cons: difficult to get edges of the patio & quite expensive unless on offer. Was the purchase worth it? Undecided. The fact you can use this on a variety of things such as walls and fences.. would be likely to cause more damage if using the high pressure lance. Did it work better? Equal (we didn't use stone cleaner initially) both with and without detergent. Just less messy but did have to go over some corners with lance. But on a side note.. you can encourage your significant other to use the power washer to clean something if they enjoy some of the power washing games (although afterwards he said his game was easier) 🙈 In summary: undecided if better than previous models.. however if on offer and you want one of these tools.. I'd pick this model. If it wasn't on offer: stick to the high pressure lance

It cleans very effectively but it is good for small areas for it will take time to clean. Still I like it a lot

Très bon accessoire pour le nettoyeur haute pression. Je l’ai pris principalement pour nettoyer les grandes surfaces extérieures et je ne regrette pas du tout mon achat. Le nettoyage est beaucoup plus rapide qu’avec la lance classique et surtout beaucoup plus uniforme. Pas de grosses projections d’eau partout et le résultat est vraiment propre. Je l’ai utilisé sur ma terrasse et les dalles et ça enlève efficacement la saleté et les traces accumulées. J’apprécie également le réglage de la hauteur qui permet d’adapter la puissance selon la surface. Les roulettes rendent aussi l’utilisation beaucoup plus confortable, surtout lorsqu’on doit nettoyer une grande superficie. La qualité de fabrication est au rendez-vous, comme souvent avec Kärcher. L’ensemble paraît solide et bien conçu. C’est clairement un accessoire que je recommande si vous avez régulièrement des terrasses, allées ou grandes surfaces à nettoyer. Ça fait gagner énormément de temps par rapport à une lance classique.

I bought it for my k3, even if it's not advisable and you need to use it starting from k4 up the line. I changed nozzles for k2-k3 t- 350 and it works really well. My small 26m terrace clean within one hour and I'm not tired. Front nozzle has only t-racer 7. Because of it I went for this model.

Cleaned my patio just with a power washer and got covered myself and my house in disgusting mud. Then I found out about this attachment. Cleaned the rest of the patio with minimal effort and 0 flying mud. Even my 7 year old managed to help out with it. Hope I knew about it earlier... Love it and recommend.
