Perfect fit, no complaints
02 ext cab Silverado 1500 z71.Fit identical to OEM light. Foam gasket provided was adequately thick and compressed well, I don’t anticipate any leakage. Came with small rubber gaskets to seal the screws as well. A resistor is prewired into the light so the lower amps of the LED won’t affect the cruise control. The light works great and is much brighter than the OEM halogen lights. Even looks nice during the day as the chrome reflectors for the cargo lamps really glisten in the sun. Definitely a nice little touch to an older truck.

Cargo comes on with brake application.
This is my second one that started to power up the cargo light while brake is pressed. I did all the proper diagnosis and it's within the item that there is power being fed. It worked correct when installed then started doing the same as the first one I had. I believe it must get hot and short out internally after a while of use.
