MFI certified, the bolse USB sync/charger cable boasts of a sturdy construction and a long reach. Constructed from high density nylon material, flexible and yet sturdy this cable ought to withstand the rigors of regular travel usage. MFI certification: Made for iPhone or MFI certification is given to only those cables that can sync with an apple product, in particular the latest generation of iPhone and iPad. The bolse 6 feet nylon sync cable receives this certification making it super easy to plug-n-play your iPhone or iPad with a laptop or computer. Nylon fiber cloth: Instead of plastics or polycarbonate sheathing, this bolse apple lightning cable features a unique high tensile nylon construction. The nylon fiber cloth is wound tightly around the cord lending it superior durability and adding a bit to its flexibility. Nylon as a fabric happens to be waterproof with a high stress quotient so this bolse cable ought to last really long. 6 Feet long: When one travels, it isn't about having a USB cable but more about having a long one. Be it charging your portable device or syncing data with the computer, longer the cable, the easier it is to use without worrying about reach or distance. In fact, six feet more than suffices for connecting with the back panel of a desktop computer. Tangle free: Once done, simply wind up the cable into a tight coil and store it in your laptop bag or pouch. The cable is lightweight even though it measures nearly 6 feet long.

Purchased 3; all broke. :( UPDATE: Company bribing better reviews!
I purchased three of these and two of them broke within days of use. One just stopped working on anything and the other fell apart - the end snapped off (no extreme usage just normal and it snapped). The third worked for about a month then broke.Super unfortunate.UPDATED REVIEW: The company contacted me which is a great gesture of service. (even thought they called me about three times a ay which is a bit annoying). They offered to replace the THREE cords I purchased that all broke. HOWEVER, their "policy" is that they cannot send the product without me first changing my review to a 3 star or higher. That is bad marketing and practice. Now questioning how many of the product reviews have been "bought" in this way. I asked if the product had been enhanced in any way and was told it wasn't so why on earth would I want you to send me a product that for me has a 100% failure rate AFTER I tell others that it is a good product. I am sure that is NOT what Amazon intends for their marketplace. Transparency is a real thing. Now, I am taking this beyond my review on Amazon and into my blog, social media and personal connections. #BadMove Bolse. Shame on you.

Dead after 6 months, no response from manufacturer
Bought a few of these cables and used them gently over the last year. One of them began malfunctioning after ~6 months, causing iPhones to repeatedly vibrate and blink the screen until disconnected. I assume that means something is wrong with one or more of the contacts in the cable. I looked at the contact surface on the lightning connector side and there are some discolored pads. Maybe the gold plating is too thin and its quickly wearing off or corroding?Anyway, dead cable. I emailed Bolse a few weeks ago asking for a replacement but no response.I expect years of use out of an expensive charging cable, not 6 months. 2 stars because it was nice while it lasted.

A Great Cable—Until It's Not
I was in love with this cable—initially. It's aesthetically pleasing and appears to be very durable. But appearances can be deceiving. Everything was fine for three weeks, when I knocked my iPhone 6 plus onto the floor with the cable plugged in, bending the lightening connector. I straightened the connector, but to no avail. The cable would not charge my phone. I chalked it up to an error on my part, even though similar falls, drags, and snags with Apple cables never ended with a bent connector. Nevertheless, I ordered a second cable. I was really careful and this one worked great for four weeks—until a message appeared on my phone saying the cable was not an Apple accessory and it never charged my phone again. If you read three and four star reviews you will find that many customers reported similar problems but gave the cable decent ratings because of the speed with which Bolse sent a replacement cable, oftentimes in response to negative Amazon reviews. Since most people write reviews after just a few weeks, I suspect the non-charging issue is a bigger problem that the reviews would suggest, which is why Bolse customer service is so proactive and/or prompt about sending replacements. Buyer beware.

Works but with a hassle
I ordered two of these because I wanted something that doesn't tangle, was long enough to reach from my night stand to my bed, and was "certified" so I wouldn't have to buy another charger. So far, I've been using them since 2014 and they still work, most of the time anyways. It's functional to a certain point, where I would have to constantly plug the charger in and out so the pins match my phone's port or try flipping from one side to the other or take the case off cause it doesn't "fit in all the way" (cause all that makes a lot of sense). In terms of "Apple Certified" quality, they suck! But, they're still working so what am I to complain, most of the time anyways. The build is below par, where the metallic casings that say "Bolse" fell off on the second week of use, but that didn't quite bother me as much as having to constantly plug and re-plug the charger until my damn phone will start charging, Now that I have an Iphone 7 plus, i decided to just stick with the original charger.

So far, so good.
I needed a 6' cable. So far, so good. I have purchased braided and noodle charging cords. Whether noodle or braided, they weren't Apple certified, and all stopped working when I began using them on my new IPhone 6. This is an Apple-certified sturdy cord, with strong reinforcement at the necks. (The cables that come with the Apple devices have eventually broken at their necks, exposing the underlying wires. Yikes!) this cable is bendable and kind of holds it's bent shape, in whatever curve you make. It definitely won't tangle. It's diameter is much larger than any other cable.

FANTASTIC BUY!!!!
I honestly just keep buying these as gifts for friends. I bought one for my mother at first and then I bought one for myself. We initially bought them because my cat likes chewing on wires and we decided to get corded charging cables for our new phones. All in all, she tries to chew through them but never gets very far which led to her giving up on chewing on our phone chargers!! This product is extremely durable and having the longer length to the cord helps when I need to charge my phone but also need to multitask! This product honestly charges my phone and iPad faster and better than the actual Apple charger does! This product is AMAZING and a FANTASTIC buy! I get them for friends because we all have similar iPhones and they love them just as much as I do!

Finally! I don't have to replace my chargers on a monthly basis.
You know how it goes. You get a new cable, and within 2 weeks, the children have destroyed it...you cringe, but tell yourself...it's okay, they are cheap to replace.I was looking for a longer cable...for the car, so my Autistic son wouldn't have a spaz attack when he couldn't play mine craft during a 12 hr drive. So, I forked over $20 bucks for this sucker...and felt like I was giving up a kidney.Well...color me converted. These aren't just long cables...they are super high quality. They charge quickly, and when the first one stood the test of 4 children (who are universally known for destruction) charging iPods...I bought 2 more...and a charging station by the same company.*two fists to the chest and points at the screen*Respect Bolse...respect.

This is the Lightning cable you are looking for
This is the lightning cable you are looking for. I have a few apple products which charge by lightning cable and after only a few months the cable insulation separated from the plug exposing the metal shielding beneath. I wanted a durable cable with a good length and I found it with this cable. The cable was delivered quickly and was stylishly packaged. The fabric wrap of the cable feels durable and is brightly coloured (I ordered yellow on blue). The ends of the cable feel solid and ooze quality being made of metal. I have been using the cable for a month now with no problems charging or syncing. In short this is such a good cable I just ordered two more.

I loved this cable when it first arrived
I loved this cable when it first arrived. Having bought other longer cables for previous iPhones which subsequently broke this seemed like the real deal. Friends borrowed it and everyone asked where i had got it from. The cable feels very strong and similar to climbing rope! I had no idea that after a few weeks use it would start playing up!! Occasionally would have to swap it back and fore between front and back to get to work and then I would have to switch off and back on at on the plug. That's until one night neither of these methods would work and I eventually bent the insert which goes into the phone frustrated trying to wiggle it to make contact and start charging. I am 10 days out of the return period so looks like a complete waste of money and back to original iPhone cable which works first time every time. Totally sucks. I rarely write reviews but feel I should advise people to avoid!

perfectly happy with it
Had for a couple of months now: perfectly happy with it. I've found in the past that this sort of cable has been less effective the longer it is, but this 1.8m cable has charged my iPad at least as well as any of the others I've had. Doesn't get into knots as easily; this is on account of the cloth jacket, apparently.Normally this sort of product is never going to be absolutely brilliant: it is either going to do its job and be acceptable, or not do it after a week and be atrocious. Out of the many wires I have, I would recommend this one if I had to recommend one. Also, it's prettier than the others. There, that's about as much as I can write about a cable...

Great cable! Works perfectly
Works perfectly, we have had this a few weeks now. Feels much higher quality than the original apple cable that came with the phone, we bought this cable to replace the original as it snapped internally near the thunderbolt plug, I'm sure there's a meme out there saying about £500 phone, £0.50 cable not being able to charge your phone priceless.Seriously though if you need a new cable for your iPhone I would have no hesitation in buying one of these, if you don't know about MFi certification, basically the cable comes with a tiny chip in one of the plugs that has a unique authorisation code, without it your phone will not charge. I learned this the hard way!

Works well until it doesn't
Bought two in January 2015. In April the sleeve on the plug at the USB end came loose on one of them, and at the start of May it stopped working altogether. Amazon organised a refund but naturally it would have been better if it hadn't gone wrong in the first place. Have resorted to shelling out for the official Apple product.Update July 2015: the second cable I ordered at the same time has now failed too. Currently in the process of organising a refund. In summary: these cables look nice and feel rugged, but sooner or later they give up the ghost.
