Works like a charm so far!
I'm actually using this for a multi-camera setup (DSLR's for a particular type of photography) and it works perfectly. I'm just powering it with a 12v, 1.5amp power source but one helpful bit of information that I couldn't find in this items description is that it only requires 4 Watts! Pretty good! I'm mounting this thing to a custom chest mount so I can see all 3 of my camera's displays (including live views) at once so I don't have to go from camera to camera for every shot to see what will be in frame (it's a moving setup).Anyway, so far it's working like a charm :) Good enough image quality for what I need at a resolution of 800 x 480 pixels.

Good display, rotten input logic
The display is very sharp, especially compared to the old CRT display it replaced. The multiple display window options are very nice. BUT, it will not retain the split display settings. It's OK for a bit and then reverts back to input 1 getting the full screen. That makes it useless as a split screen monitor. It would be great if you don't care about that, but the whole point of getting this monitor for me was to be able to set up a split and have it stay there. I cannot find an override to stop the automatic input selection from screwing it up.

A nice little monitor for the price
Quality wise, it feels like the $60 monitor I paid for. It's encased in cheap plastic, as you'd expect, but put together well enough. Don't expect it to take much if any abuse. The buttons are cheap as well, but functional. Ditto for the remote, but it also works. I didn't need the mount it came with, again a cheap but functional plastic (with double stick tape), but it seems it should be okay for most uses. The display is obviously not "HD", but I'm not planning to watch movies on it either. For backup, etc., camera use it has a pretty decent picture and works well for that. Although I tested all 4 channels, I'm using it in split-screen/side by side, with cameras facing out on both sides of my truck. They are cheap cameras and I suspect better cameras would provide a better image than what I have so far. Time will tell how long it lasts but I'm happy with it so far.
