Paranoia

This is a great movie that is extremely underrated. I honestly can't understand how this movie isn't appreciated more than it has been. Gripping, well-crafted script; wonderfully acted by a very strong, A-list cast; and wonderful production value. The Blu-ray is pretty much the typical blu-ray transfer, which is always far better than the standard version. All in all, I love this film. I wish more people would give it a chance.

Even though this movie really belongs to Hemsworth, and he did a great job at it, no one can ask for better supporting cast than Harrison Ford and Gary Oldman, especially at each other's throats, like they were back on "Air force One", of course on that one Gary was the bad guy, here he still is, but the whole plot has a twist to it that surprises you at the end. recommend highly. enjoy

Before watching this movie I had read a lot of the popular media reviews on it and many were placing it about 3 stars - some 2. I like all of the actors in this so I decided to give it a try, and I am glad that I did. Long story short, I really enjoyed it. Is it some major action movie blockbuster that has potential to take over the world and every action loving fan with it? No. And that is where I think a lot of the poor reviews are coming from. It isn't a movie that is completely going to blow your mind. Is it entertaining? Pretty good cast? A cohesive flow? Understandable? Pretty good acting? A decent amount of action? And interesting story? Yes to all of the above. I especially liked the story. Has it been done before? Yes. But it was entertaining enough to keep my focus glued to the TV, so that's what counts. Sometimes I felt like there could have been a little more emotion - or perhaps a different emotion shown. But I didn't think it to be one of those movies where the potential was completely lost because of poor acting. Overall, if you're looking for a decent movie with a little bit of hit and run thrill, you might be pleased with this.

Suspenseful, exciting, loved it

Good movie and above average but the preview is better than the movie. Plot is great but delivery not so great. Predictable and sometimes unbelievable. Still a good rental for a night. Action not so much.

Ich finde den Film super spannend. Die schauspielerische Leistung war klasse und die Schauspieler gut gewählt. Die Spannung hat den ganzen Film über gehalten und hat einen guten Schauplatz geliefert. Die Bild & Tonqualität ist sehr gut und ohne Aussetzer. Die Filmmusik ist dazu auch passend gewählt und setzt die ein oder andere Szene noch zusätzlich ins Licht. Im Mittelpunkt steht der junge Computerspezialist (gespielt von Liam Hemsworth) der von einem rücksichtslosen Hightechunternehmer gezwungen wird sich bei der gegnerischen Firma einzuschleußen und so an Informationen über deren neustes Produkt zu gelangen. Der junge Adam geriet so zwischen die Fronten, was den Film sehr spannend macht und einen an der Stange hält. Viele moralische Grenzen werden überschritten um das Ziel zu erreichen und ein wahnsinnig großes Ego der Chefetagen der Unternehmen die sich das Talent und die Motivation von jungen Leuten zu Nutze machen. I missed this one at my local cinema, most likely they never ran it, and if it had not been for the good reviews here I doubt I would have bought the dvd. I spotted that Gary Oldman and Harrison Ford were in, so sent for it. I found it onenof the best movies l had seen fof months! Considering the subject is mobile phones which are a pet hate to me, I refuse to own one of these, for many reasons. They have completly taken over ourr young people, proof of this was shown recently in the newspapers when a baby in it's pushchair recently fell on a line in a London tube station, a young man was completly unaware of the drama happening around him, he was somewhere out in cyberspace. Then in this movie it's the young who eventually save the world. I should have really hated this movie, but instead I loved it! I liked the many twists and surprises, and although I did not really know the young leading man, I could accept him as the hero. So it was all a pleasent surprise to me. But, no, I still do not want a mobile phone. But it made a good movie!

A good movie but we still can't find a scene that we watched on the trailer, as it was what made us buy it. However we thoroughly enjoyed it and felt all the actors really played their parts well. Being long term fans both of Harrison Ford and Gary Oldman it's a keeper.
