It is a powerful juicer, and a big size - I guess it depends how much space you have. Juice made in 5 min. though

How do you get to the basket to clean/wash it?

It's very easy to remove the basket for cleaning once you pull down the top latch and lift off the pusher and top shroud. The basket then lifts right out.
