Works perfect
This thing works great for my well tank that supplies our house. I put the low sensor about 2 feet from the bottom and put the high sensor right at the top where the tank necks down. When i'm filling it and i hear the alarm go off we cut the well off, then drain a few gallons of water and the alarm shuts off. I'm glad because this allows us to save water and not overflow the tank. The alarm is extremely loud. It is high pitched so the sound doesn't travel super far, but we are about 50 yards from the alarm and can hear it go off, we leave the window cracked to make it easier to hear. At point blank this thing will make your ears ring.I do wish there was an indicator that whenever you first turn the alarm on it beeps one time to let you know the batteries are charged. I wonder about that battery dying one day and we don't realize it, we rely on this to tell us if our tank ever gets too empty. I'll probably end up replacing the battery once every 6 months just to be on the safe side. Well worth the $35.

Works great. Unclear Instructions.
It works great once you know how to use it. For the two sensors that are attached, one is for the water level dropping too low, and the other is for the water level rising too high. You need to play with float on each sensor to determine which is which. I use the later. Either sensor will trigger the same alarm. For the sensor that determines the water level dropping too low, I wrapped a twist tie underneath the float to prevent it from dropping and triggering the alarm. For the sensor that triggers the alarm for high water levels, I let it dangle at the level at which I want the alarm to sound. The only other complaint is that if you decide to mount the alarm, which is exclusively using screws, when the battery needs changed, you need to dismount it by unscrewing all the screws. You then need to unscrew the back of the alarm to gain access to the battery compartment.Despite the unclear instructions and the inconvenient access to the battery compartment, I would buy it again because it successfully meets a critical need at a reasonable price.

Working for my DYI project
The media could not be loaded. Bought this to alert me when water level is high enough in my DYI humidifier system when topping off/ refilling. I had to make one electrical modification and added a wall outlet connection (do not try at home, I’man electrical engineer) because batteries would not last longer than a couple of weeks. So far so good; a true time saver. The audible alarm can be extremely loud at max volume-no way to sleep through it, but I have often forgotten what I was doing and not heard the alarm when in min volume. I’m usually around the house doing other things so my fault there. I now use mid volume to make sure I can still hear it anywhere in my apartment in the event I forget again.Had it for several months now and working like a charm.

Got this as a pool alarm
The idea was to set it to go off if someone or something got into the pool, it's a little hard to get it to set just right. The noise is certainly loud and very annoying.

Works perfectly
Our swimming pool does not have auto-fill and I can't see the water level from the house. There have been times when the level got dangerously low, almost to the point the circulation pumps could cavitate. I rigged up a stand using 1 1/4" PVC pipe on the tanning deck with the sensor attached to a angle brace. The very first day I set it up, the pool tech didn't tighten down a strainer basket lid and when the pump came on, water began spilling out to the point the pool lost 3" of water in 6 hours. I came home to the sound of the alarm and with the light elevated on the pole I could see blinking light from the house. another hour or so and I would have a burned up pump. First day-first save.

Both sensors float
Instructions are very basic and don't explain how to get the sensors to sink. Both the high water sensor and low water sensor float; I will need to obtain wire and something else to help weigh down the sensors or else the product basically won't function.

Functions well
This water level alarm functions according to how the manufacturer said it will. When using as a low level indicator the hallow cylindrical float moves upwards as the float assembly is placed in to the water. As the water in tank or container drops below the level of the float, the float drops and triggers the alarm. The installation instructions are very clear. There are small marks on the top of the cylindrical float. For low level indication the marks on the float face upwards, for high level indication the marks face downwards. This is a good product for the price.
