First of all, let me say I’m a professional Barber and I know how expensive shears can be. These have a very smooth cut. They’re the right thickness and the right grip. They cut to have like butter and I’ve tried a lot of of the multiple bands that cost hundreds of dollars these are easy on the eyes and they don’t look cheap. Things are so expensive that is hard to charge an affordable these days. These get the job done while looking good at it.

Solid set of scissors. Came sharp, clean and ready to go. No issues so far. I’m not a pro cutting hair for hours a day so I can’t speak to the long term comfort but they fit my hands well.

Professional dog groomer here. I ordered these thinners as an "in between" pair to use while my regular thinners were being sharpened. I was actually pretty impressed with them for the price. They came to me very sharp and are nice and lightweight. Yes, these are designed for smaller hands-which I have, so I had no problem with the size. If you have gigantic man hands, they probably won't work for you. Also, these are thinners, not chunkers, so if you are looking to bulk thin massive amounts of hair, look elsewhere. They do work beautifully for work around a dog's face. I believe the reason they are so inexpensive is that they are made of rather soft steel-they will not hold an edge for very long if you're using them every day. However, if you're looking for a pair of in betweens, or a pair for at home grooming of yourself or your own dog, they should probably work for you.

I have hair with a mind of its' own. I wear it short and despite the fact that every hair is very thin; I have tons of hair and it needs to be thinned out when I have my hair cut every four weeks. I missed my last appointment and my hair stylist, who I've gone to for thirty years (Bless Her!), is on vacation so I am left to make my hair somewhat presentable . I threw away my old thinning shears because I had made a mistake and bought one that had too few teeth and it was chunking my hair. These shears have more teeth and work well on my very fine hair. I hardly ever have to use it between haircuts because my Stylist gives me such a good haircut but under these circumstances, I'm glad I bought these to try. My hair is longer but not as full now and it (and I) will make it until she gets home. I have used many shears over the years, including some very expensive ones I bought from a Beauty Supply store that the hair stylists use. I find these shears to be equal to those in sharpness and ease of use. They probably won't last for twenty years like those did but I wouldn't expect that. Highly recommend these!

Extremely small scissors! My wife has small hands for a woman and she thinks these are too small! Definitely kids size unfortunately. They are sharp and a good price, but they 100% need to be BIGGER!

Initial impression was good build quality and felt good in the hand. It has a good blade tensioning system that can be fine tuned to give a clean, sharp cut. After the first use I was happy with the results. I would buy them again/
