Thought provoking
The book, Grace in Living is excellent. Kathleen Dowling Singh is a wonderful writer. Wonderful is not the right word. With a Zen background, she just has a way about her. All her books are very thought provoking, enlightening and powerful. We are also reading Grace in Aging and Unbinding in two of my phone classes. So more fulfilling to read and share with others. We will probably read Grace in Dying next...we love her style so much.

A guide to embracing Grace
In this profound and useful book, Kathleen Dowling Singh invites us to reflect on the love woven into our lives, whether displayed in its highlights or hidden in its challenges. She uses stories and exercises to help us welcome the paradoxes offered by each quarter of the spiritual life: Glimpsing the Divine while creating our pain; walking a spiritual path while unraveling our pain; laying down spiritual idealism while deepening in love; and finally, resting in the Grace of all things. Her map of awakening supports seekers of all traditions. I highly recommend Kathleen’s guidance.

A book review for Kathleen Dowling Singh's " The Grace in Living: Recognize it, Trust it, Abide in it"
I have read 40 some odd pages of this life-altering book and am left spellbound and breathless with the profoundity of wisdom and insights Kathleen Dowling Singh shares with her readers. For those of us who walk a spiritual path, her words are poetry .... pure and lyrical .... filling the heart and soul in a way that is rarely encountered. It is a book for all religious expressions. It is timely. Our world is filled with utter confusion, turmoil and division leaving us feeling off-centered and unbalanced. It is a book that gently reminds us that in spite of all the chaos, we are never alone. We need but LOOK to KNOW that we are and have ALWAYS, been surrounded and protected by the power of Abiding Grace.

This is one book should be read as a set ...
This is one book should be read as a set of books. If you have an aging parent or you are looking at death, this book and the grace of dying is worth checking out. This author grows as a writer. I warn you that her first book is more wordy and less sharp then her second. Still, it's the ideas that she expresses that are worth thinking about and reading about.

Wisdom that resonates deeply.
Another wonderful book by Kathleen Dowling Singh. Our "spiritual biography," and we all have one, offers us a place to begin to truly recognize our own depth of being. Thank you, Kathleen, for sharing how accessible this path of understanding is, and how to explore it with these exercises, enabling us to connect with grace/Love in the everyday. Hearing the wonderful stories/paths of others, their trials and tribulations, makes it seem even more possible."Practice aligned with grace, develops a perspective that CAN see. It develops our capacity to simply show up in our lives and be present."

I read and loved the author's books
I read and loved the author's books, The Grace in Aging and The Grace in Dying, so I knew this would be good.It is. How to write our spiritual biography. Great idea! Can we see grace throughout the stages of our journey? The book divides spiritual life into 4 quarters. We can write out these peak events that shaped our lives or moreimportant, it just to remember,to recollect how moments of grace enhanced our life.
