color me satified
This pen will scratch any pen lovers itch. I love a good pen, like most people, we have preferences and a list the pen must check off. My daughter bought these originally and I had to try one. These are thicker than I normally prefer. I like Frixion .38 erasable pens for my line of work but I need a "normal" pen for check signing and notarial acts. I have given them to my co-workers and they are pleased. It's worthy as a gift as well. It's smooth, doesn't smear, weighted nicely with the cap on while writing. My only wish was a retractable version. I find if I take the cap off and leave it on my desk, I will end up with dots on the sides of my hands where I've bumped into it.

Love these pens so much! 5 Pros, 1 Con adding an update about needing to be kept capped!
it seems harder to find a great red-ink than black-ink pen. And pens are very important to me, so I've tried out many. Pros on the red-ink extra fine roller ball pen by Shuttle Art: 1. writes beautifully, dark enough so i can see it well!, even with the thin line that I love. 2. Writes smoothly over the paper, no "scratchy" feeling. 3. Doesn't bleed thru to the other side. 4. Doesn't smear, get on fingers, any of the messy stuff. 5. pens come in a package that can be neatly closed - a plastic that re-connects like an envelope . Con: you have to / are supposed to recap when not using: every other sentence I write is in spanish (red) so that's a lot of capping and uncapping - would be nice if this could possibly be a clicker. Haven't tried not capping, so don't know how quickly pen would actually dry out. Recommend this pen along with my black- ink pen choice: Uniball Jetstream 0.7 UPDATE: i ACCIDENTLY LEFT MY PEN UNCAPPED OVERNIGHT - IT WROTE PERFECTLY - NO HESITATION AT ALL...SO I DECIDED TO SEE HOW LONG i COULD GO- LEFT UNCAPPED REST OF THE NEXT DAY, WHILE INTERMITTANTLY USING....PERFECT!! YEA!

Decent pen for the price
I feel like it's hard to find extra fine pens at a decent price point, but these fit the bill. They are not the best pen I've used, but unless you are true connoisseur you'll be fine. The only 2 small complaints I have are that the colors are not the same as what I saw in the pictures. By that I mean red was red, but not the darker shade of red it looked like in the pics. It's just the normal red you get with most pens. Again, it's fine - just not what I was hoping for. And that they are not as smooth writing as other roller ball pens I've used. The ink flows fine, it just feels like it's dragging across the page a bit as I write. That said, the ink doesn't blotch up or skip so it does the job it was designed to do for a good price.

Great pens and lots of them!
Rollerball pens are the best!! They glide across the paper and always work...until you use up all the ink...Then just take another from this giant box of them. I just got black because I prefer that but they have other colors. Great value and I don't want to use any other pens anymore!

Bleeds through paper
Will easily leak through the paper or material you are writing on. The only way to minimize bleeding through is to be quick about your pen strokes. Otherwise it is relatively easy to use. Ink lasts long. Make sure to keep it capped or else you might accidentally smudge it on another surface.
