This works great!
I am using one of these to control my older Samsung TV that doesn't support the Alexa app natively, as well as a wall fan, an old AC unit, some LED lights, and to start/stop a Eufy (floor cleaning robot) on command. The app provides easy setup for each new remote, and even includes a step to help you confirm that a copied button is working before you move on to copy the next button. The language in the app wasn't translated perfectly into English, but it's close enough that it's understandable, and may even give you a bit of a chuckle.I like that the light only blinks on to indicate that it is doing something, and otherwise it stays dark.My only complaint is that I would prefer if the casing wasn't shiny. Odds are that you bought this to fill a need, not because you wanted a shiny accessory to be highly visible on your setup. I was able to preserve my aesthetic by finding a strategic location for it.

It just works
10/10, it just works and is like $20. Bought 4 more for the rest of the house.I was originally quoted $7k to get WiFi modules connected to each my mini splits, but instead a friend asked if the remote are IR and turns out they are. For mimicing functions, this just works, is cheap, I can use it from my phone and set routines, it's amazing. Great productApp is meh, but who cares this thing is crazy cheap and it works

Almost perfect
It's mostly a God send. I've been desperately searching for a way to control my parents TV from long distance because they have Alzheimer's and can no longer use a remote control. I was able to quickly and easily connect this device along with my new fire TV and everything almost works perfectly. The only real problem that I am having is compatibility with the IR remote software matching with the Pioneer brand fire TV. Some of the control buttons will not work no matter what I do and the code obviously just simply isn't matching it up perfectly but it is good enough for my needs. Currently the way I am doing a workaround is simply to turn the TV off and back on again so that I can get back to the home screen because the back button does not work remotely even though it shows it will. So other TV brand codes may work better and I am still very happy with the product because I was not finding much else out there. I definitely would recommend this product.

Add centralized control for remote controlled devices easily
I plugged this into the wall and was at first apprehensive about finding my remote codes. The process of setting up the codes wasn't intuitive, but I was able to set up all of my devices using a little trial and error of the alternative listings in the app. There's an additional bank of data provided by users in case you'd like to find something uploaded by the community. Overall, I'm happy with being able to multitask - set up a snack in my air fryer and grab a drink while telling Alexa to turn on my TV and audio system from in the kitchen.

works great with home assistant
bought this so I could automate a bunch of dumb devices and it works great in both stock app and in home assistant can easily learn and send commands. these are so great have 2 of them now highly recommend these

Horrible range!
For a device that's supposed to be able to control so many things, you'd think it would have a range that can at least reach across a room. I can control my TV with the remote for the TV from over 30ft away. With the RM4C Mini, It won't control the TV if it sits more than 3ft away and it's cord is only about 3ft long. I don't know where you could plug it in and still reach anywhere close enough to control the TV. I have other devices on the shelves of a TV stand. There is nowhere that I can put the RMC4 Mini where it can control more than 1 device at a time. I was really hoping I could put this device on an end table that's maybe 20ft from the devices where it can see all devices at once, but it won't control any from that distance. The app seems to work well and it is easy to program. It says it has thousands of devices, but it didn't have my Samsung TV, Cox cable box, or Onkyo home theater system on it's list. I was able to find a setting that controlled the TV and Onkyo device, but I would have to program each button for the Cox cable box. I would have been happy to set up and program everything the way I like it if the range was long enough to control more than one device at a time. I could not get it to connect to set up on a Pixel 4 phone, but I was able to on a Samsung Galaxy S10. Once connected to the network, I could then add it to the app on the Pixel. I will be returning this device.

NOT a New Item & Painful Setup
While unpacking the remote device, I was wondering, if it had really been packed that badly by the manufacturer, but when I finally held the little device in my hands there was no doubt: it didn't come fresh from the factory because I could see fingerprints on the black plastic everywhere. I don't mind buying a 'refurbished' product on purpose, but when it's not mentioned in the product description, I should be correct to assume that it actually is brand new.My second issue is the setup of the little device - what a difficult process with a lot of trial and error that was. I recall the process for the previous version not being easy either, but this was yet another dimension. Therefore, I had to take away ⭐⭐

Fantastic
I had some lyric honeywell remote controllers before but they were no longer supported by them. So I had one break and needed something new, I was sceptical that this would work due to the price but honestly it works better then my previous honeywell until at a fraction of the price. I couldn't be happier with it, cheap and was easy to set up. I'll probably be getting another one in the future for my other Mitsubishi heat pump head.
