This is the one to buy.
Ok, here is the real deal. My kids asked about getting a slackline and I thought it would be fun to use myself as well. So a quick check on amazon and I became overwhelmed with all the options.I chose this one because of the very helpful reviews and price : ) So now I want to pay it forward with a detailed review of what to expect. The bottomline is, these slacklines are the same as the heavy duty tow lines for cars and trucks and the ratchet works the same, which is a challenge if you don't know what to expect. Also the instructions are pretty vague, I believe it's because "Goodtimes" wants to avoid any potential law suits. To be fair to them, each installation differs by the size and circumference of the tree you are attaching these too. So install is more of an art not a science.Right after my purchase, "Goodtimes" emailed me with a nice "let us know if need help" email and they actually replied right back with a real human, which was pretty cool. I told them they needed some kind of video to help us amateur parents that are not tow truck drivers or professional acrobats. Hopefully they make one. Now some more helpful tips on what to expect and installation.#1. As in other posts, the slack line is very difficult to get used to, so give it time and don't give up. Start it really low to ground, even if you think you are a Ninja Warrior : )#2. On the install, the ratchet can be scary, you have to crank it really, really tight, so the line won't sag and hit the ground. I still think I'm going to break it and something will fly up and hit me. The worst part is loosening the strap, you have to crank it the opposite way and wiggle it and then suddenly the line suddenly pops loose with great force. Make sure everyone is clear of the area! There is not gradual loosening, simply because the line is so tight. All this to say is that, it takes some getting used to both on the install and in the balancing.I hope this was helpful.

Strong and Sturdy but very similar to car straps.
Im not sure of the difference (maybe the weight it can hold) but I received these and they are very similar to my truck straps. These are heavy, well built and sturdy!! I didnt want a slackline coming apart with my children on it so I was going back and forth trying to find the best one for my money but this slack line definately holds up! Its definately worth it!

Super duper fun for everyone
This is a great product! I purchased it for my 4 year old granddaughter who is practicing to join the circus when she grows up. She has spent hours practicing in the back yard. My son who is 250 lbs. Loves this product also. He is in a very intense college program and has tried yoga, meditation and other methods of clearing his mind. When he gets on the slack line, I can see the stress literally leave his body. He has lost 2 inches off his waist in just 2 weeks. GREAT FUN FOR THE MIND AND BODY! great job for making an affordable, quality product.

Great product, very easy and sturdy
Great product, very sturdy and easy to set up, and I like the 2-inch webbing instead of 1-inch that I learned on (using this for adults, not kids). We previously had more of a DIY slackline that involved buying the webbing and heavy-duty caribiners from an outdoor store and using them to rig it together with various types of knots from directions online, but that took a while to set up and was hard to tighten enough. I wish we had bought this Goodtimes set from the beginning, as the loops are already sewn in (no knots to tie/untie) and the rachet makes it very easy to tighten, and it actually came out a bit cheaper than buying the parts separately like we did a few years ago. BTW I recommend wearing form-fitting water shoes for slacklining--they are thin and flexible so you can feel the line but provide more grip and protection than bare feet, especially when you start to lose your balance and jump off to the ground.PS: For those trying slacklining for the first time, even if you are in good shape it still takes about 2 weeks to get the hang of it and develop different core muscles and balance instincts, so don't give up at first thinking it's impossible, just keeping trying to stand and walk and balance on it a few minutes a day (with a stick or holding someone's shoulder at first if needed), then try to use them less and less, and after a few weeks you won't need any help to walk up and down it! (And this is coming from a middle-aged person, not a kid or an athlete.) Great for building balance and focus, fun to get outside and do a few minutes a day, and great sense of accomplishment and confidence!

Wonderful product!
We purchased this for our 7 year old and twin 6 year old children. They LOVE it!! It is not easy and will definitely take some practice but it is so much fun! The directions for set-up are simple, clear and easy to understand. The product is well made and appears to be extremely sturdy. Both my husband and I have used it and it is great! We highly recommend this product and this company. The company has reached out to us to follow-up to confirm that we were able to install the product properly. Great customer service. We are very pleased!

Love my slack line
Love my slack line. Used it today for the first time and its super sturdy and durable. Coming in at 225lbs, I'm a big dude to get on one of these but its able to support me even at the distances used. I'd recommend this slackline as a great beginner slackline or even advanced!

Balancing already
This slack line will be a good investment for some time. it's sturdy, so I feel like my grandkids are safe on it. And though at first they didn't see how they could possibly walk on it, now after only 4 days, they are able to take a few steps before the loose their balance. I found a video (maybe in the feedback section) that showed how kids were able to walk it and this gave my kids some understanding. The most difficult for me was that I am not familiar with the ratchet mechanism so it took me a while to figure it out.
