I got these thinning shears to the my girl's hair. I didn't want to fool with taking them to the salon and shelling out a bunch of money on something I felt like I could do after watching a few YouTube videos :-PThey did the job. The other shears were a bonus for me. I've only used them twice so I can't comment on longevity at the moment. Hopefully I get a handful of uses out of them. The price was decent as well. I've compared them to my hand as a size reference. My hand is a little bigger than average but gives you an idea.

I have been a barber for 15+ years. I have plenty of expensive shears, but I have a heck of a time finding people to sharpen them in a timely manner because I work in a small out of the way place and apparently, the mobile sharpeners don't come out that way very often. I got sick of waiting and cutting hair with dull shears, so I thought I'd try these in the meantime and in case I need to mail my good ones out. Um, I actually love these things. They might dull way faster than my spendy ones, but for the price, I'd actually rather just reorder new ones more often than deal with trying to track down the shear sharpening people, who charge more to sharpen my shears than this set costs anyways.

These work well for cutting hair. I've never owned special hair-cutting scissors before, and I like that they have comfortable grips with the little comma shaped thing coming off the end of the loop. The blue inside part does pop out every now and then, but it pops in easily. They are definitely nice intro-level scissors and my kids haircuts look sharp.

Hair cutting scissors: GREAT, clean cut, no pull. Happy to finally have a pair of these to fix my fringe with.Thinning shears: Awful. These are quite literally split-end machines. The moment I brought these to my bangs for a trim, the scissors came away and revealed a full row of slip ends. Gladly I had the pair of regular hair cutting scissors to fix the job. I haven't had this split-end problem with other thinning shears.

Scissors work as expected. As a guy I got tired of paying for haircuts and not really getting what I wanted so I started watching YouTube videos and learned to do it myself. They are sharp and make it easy to style my hair and cut very well. I've used them 3 times in the past 2 1/2 months and they show no sign of dulling soon.

I love these. I only cut my husband’s hair every once in a while, but they do the job. Especially the blending shears.

Good quality for the price! Someone had mentioned in a previous review that the holes were the same size which is not true. I will however agree that these scissors would not be good for people with average to large hands because the holes would not be wide enough. These are perfect for me since I have small hands/fingers.
