My mum asked me to get these for her. With all the hairdressers being closed because of the pandemic, she decided to go back to the old ways of styling hair at home. The good old-fashioned hair curlers, Hilda Ogden style! They’re every bit as I remembered them from my childhood. I used to have to help her in those days. The only difference is that the pins are now plastic and not metal. A lot safer, I would think. The rollers are pretty much the same. She went for the 15mm ones as she has relatively short hair nowadays. For under £7 for a set of twenty-four rollers and pins can’t be too bad. The quality is reasonable, and they have no sharp edges that could cause an injury. They’re a lot cheaper than going to the hairdressers even if they were open. My apologies to all hairdressers out there, I know it’s not your fault. Overall, a fair set of old-fashioned hair rollers. I hope that helps.

Wanted old fashioned hair rollers with pins,which I had to go to Amazon for as no shops sold them.Delighted that I could finally purchase them and could pick them up in my local Post Office within two days.the modern rollers stick to my hair and make it bushy when I take them out

Not soft bristles or medium rollers but small and plastic bristles.

Best ones and they are firm.The rollers don't give in. I am satisfied.

Absoloutely rubbish . My hair was so tangled when trying to remove them I had to tear my hair off . I’ll be sticking to sponge rollers in future

I bought these when my hairdresser had to close because of lock-down. They are fine for my fairly short permed hair. The pins can be a little hard to push through the plastic holes, but they are otherwisee fine. A few extra pins are supplied, but you need to try not to lose any – they can disappear down the back of the sofa etc!

Curlers are okay but the picks don't fit through the holes. And they're not made very well. I can use them but it takes longer to roll your hair.
