Harder Than You Think
Read the reviews saying these pillows were firmer than described, but blew past them. Thought maybe folks hadn’t slept on them in hotels, where I’d discovered the brand after literally stripping the pillow cases off to see what this ‘great, soft but supported pillow’ might be. Now, maybe it’s the fact that there were probably hundreds of heads sleeping on those pillows before me that made them feel so wonderful and, by contrast, my own new home pillows feel too firm and hard(ish). Nonetheless, these beauties take some getting used to. Definitely down filled so you can moosh them around, but filled maybe a little too well to make them feel like you dropped onto a big marshmallow. I’m sure over time they’ll become wonderful bed companions and last a long time because the construction is perfection and a terrific investment (FYI: first time out of the box requires a simple short spin in the dryer with a damp washcloth), so I’m keeping them. So I am going to buy a second pair, but this time, the softest mooshiest ones do I can mix things up a bit on my queen bed. I’ve finally invested in a good nights sleep so I’m going to stay with this brand. Sweet dreams, kids:)

Im sleeping like a baby!!!
It's like a really nice hotel pillow that is soft and fluffy and conforms to your head WITHOUT deflating. Spend the extra money on this one ($120 for 1 pillow). IT'S WORTH IT!!! It seems like a lot to spend on one pillow, but if you think about the cost per use (my last PC Down pillow lasted 10 years), it only comes out to $0.03 a day. And a great night's sleep is worth $0.03 a day to me! Pacific Coast Luxury Down Pillow 680 Thread Count 700 Fill Power White Goose Down Machine Wash & Dry - Queen

Love these pillows
Love these pillows. After buying cheap pillows for years, I was tired of having to replace them every 6 months bc they'd gotten flat and unsupportive. I started looking for feather or down pillows as I had them as a kid and never remembered them getting so flat. I want with these based on review and I'm glad I did. We've had them for 4 months now and they are still just as fluffy as ever. I've put them in the dryer on warm a few times to help clean them, and they've come out fine. My plan is to get them professionally cleaned twice a year just like I do with my down duvet and do the warm dryer to keep them smelling nice.

Well was I disappointed, big time
Sent them back, Fluffed them in the dryer, as per instructions. I was so excited to hit the sack that night. Well was I disappointed, big time. I spent the next 30min trying to get comfortable, by the end of the 30min it was hard as a rock and I threw it of my bed in disgust. Not just because of the expensive concrete pillow I blew my money on. But because there was a noticeable hint of poo coming from the pillow..gross.So, I promptly sent them back, costing me $22 for the experience. I watched the tracking number and noticed I had shipped back to someones home and it was left on their front porch. Suspicious. Knowing what I know now, I would have avoided this purchase completely. Dont waste you time or money.

Good pillows - Description not clear though
We purchased these pillows as a result of a trip to Hawaii. We stayed at the Pacific Beach Hotel and loved the beds and pillows there. We took note and purchased a set when we returned home. I believe that there are different categories of firmness that is not clearly disclosed in the description on Amazon. These do not feel as soft as those we slept on in Hawaii. I would say these are a medium or firm pillow. They are still soft and respond like a feather pillow, but just aren't as 'sink in' soft as those in Hawaii. We have gotten used to them and do like them. Giving them 4 stars because the description was not clear about the firmness of the pillows we were receiving.

Excellent pillows!!
I’m not sure about the issues people have had in the past vs the present version but these are awesome. I’ve owned Pacific Coast featherbeds, comforters and pillows over the last 20+ years. I love hotel quality bedding and I wish I could buy a mattress but no luck. The pillow, that was doable with these... fantastic! I sleep mostly on my back and sometimes on my sides... no issues here but I can’t speak for all. I believe you get what you pay for and these are high quality for sure.

Travel a lot for work and these are almost as great as the Hilton hotel pillows. I love to take these with me. They flatten out sometimes but as soon as you fluff them they are great again

SMELLS after wash
I bought these pillows a long time ago after sleeping on some very comfy ones one night at the Omni in Austin. I have to say the pillows I received weren’t the same. I paid a lot for them and decided to give them a try.I never thoroughly cleaned them through the wash, usually just used a wet washcloth and threw in the dryer, until a couple of nights ago. I followed the instructions by doing an extra spin cycle and then putting them in the dryer. After finishing, the pillows felt dry so I put cases on them and up to bed. When going to bed, they smelled AWFUL. I have a terrible sense of smell so if I can smell it, it’s bad. I tried running through the wash again, then drying them for longer (3 hours). Still the odor is bad. I feel like I have to buy new pillows altogether, disappointing.
