Pure Boxing Tough Guy Kids Punching Bag

Arrived quickly, bought the sand for base and inflated. Just turned 10 year old (avg size) son loved it for about an hour when it sprung a leak along the neck line. We patched it but it still deflates within an hour. Realize it was not expensive but was hoping to get more than 60 minutes of use. The packaging says up to 12 years old but I would hesitate to purchase if you have an active/athletic child over 8 years old. My son loved the appearance and wanted to get another one but have to go in another direction. The reason it is not a 1 star review is because my son loved it and it may have been perfect for him at age 6 or 7.

I got this for a child taking Karate (Kempo) classes so they would practice at home.Delivery: Arrived quickly and came with everything advertised. Packaging was fine.Assembly: I already had a foot-powered pump for a Bossu (yoga) ball - it was needed. The main body needs to be inflated with air; the black ring they suggest should be filled with water or sand for stability. Even with the pump, it took a while to get it inflated. Using your lungs is not recommended.The black ring - if fully filled with water - will be very heavy. My method for filling was to place the item in the tub and run the water over the valve; I'd recommend filling it in no more than 1/2 with water. After doing so I brought the inflatable to the area it would be used then used the air pump to fill the ring the rest of the way. It's stable, fully inflated and can still be moved easily by either parent while not moving when the child practices kicks.The description stated it was over 4 feet tall and that's accurate. However the one I received stands about six feet tall. Not a problem, just an observation.It's great for practice; I've even used it myself (1st Dan - TKD) and it's very solid.Value: Wonderful. I'd get another of these in a heartbeat.Small addendum; it also worked as a birthday prop. I put a full sized (XL) hockey jersey and balanced a matching hat on top to wish someone a happy birthday. It's basically adult size.

This inflateable punching bag seemed like a better option than others available online. For the base we filled this one with sand instead of water (previous trail and error with a cheaper inflateable punching bag) it took quite a bit of play sand....and it was not the easiest or cleanest job to fill the base....however it was much sturdier of an option when it was filled over filling with water.My son LOVED it while it stayed inflated....about a week after set-up the inflatable pure MMA boxer began to slouch....there was obveiously a small leak somewhere in this thing. We reinflated a few times and even searched for the hole...with no luck...so now I have this large useless slouching thing full of sand...piece of garbage. I was unable to return due to the window of return being closed. Just to warn anyone looking at this to buy....move on and save your money!!!

I bought this inflatable bag for my 3 year old son. He loves it, and I enjoy attacking it as well. We never use anything sharp against it, for obvious reasons, but we hit it regularly with fists, feet, plastic swords, and foam noodles.It's funny, his neck and head make him look a little E.T.-ish on top, but if anything it's more endearing. Also, it means there is a neck and throat against which to target your attacks.I filled the base with water, and it does a great bob and weave recovery after bopping it. No air or water leaks so far. I used a portable air compressor to fill carefully fill it. I would recommend inflating it carefully and fully to prevent damage to it. The plastic seems sturdy enough. I'll update this review if it ever leaks. So far, so good!

This... is super fun. I have it in my office and several times a day, coworkers come in & punch him. We've randomly named him Doug. It's highly satisfying to punch the heck outta him when you're having a bad day. Better than hitting a coworker. This dude is super ugly & mean looking, too, so you won't feel bad about hitting him. Great stress relief.

This thing is a lot bigger than expected most blow up punching bags are kinda small but this thing is like the height of an adult. So it seems more realistic when your punching it. I got this for my son (9yrs old) and he loves it! It's pretty sturdy hard to knock over unless you tackle him which is what my son likes to do but if your just punching him it'd be hard to knock him out to the ground bc the base is good size so it holds lots of water which weights it down good, which is what we needed since our little one is getting older. The other kids punching bags were just to flimsy or would get a hole in it quick but this guy is pretty solid.

I bought this for my 4 year old Grandson and told him that he can kick and punch this as much as he wants, but this is they ONLY thing he allowed to kick or punch. He's so happy with it! It's taller than I imagined (taller than him). I chose to fill the bottom with sand just in case of a possible hole. I'd rather have a little sand on the floor than water. Good product, good price.

I was really hoping paying the extra money for this "bop bag" would have insured it last longer than a month. A five year old, without shoes or sharp objects on his person, managed to put a hole in the inflatable. Unfortunately, I could not return it cause it was more than the 30 days. It definitely would not hold up to older children, let alone adults.
