Fast Accurate Digital Food Thermometer Folding Auto Switch Meat Thermometer for Grill,BBQ,Oven,Cooking

I had recently bought a thermapen and then I got a chance to review this item. The first thing I noticed was the weight. Significantly lighter than the thermapen. I have no way of knowing how much of that is due to build materials or internal sensors/electronics etc. With that said, it seems to read about 1-2 degrees different than my thermapen. This is probably a pretty acceptable tolerance but it was never consistently high or low so is a negative. Another thing is that it takes a while to get a final read. It will get a really close read almost instantly but compared to the thermapen it will sometimes take 5-10 seconds before it stops. All in all, considering a thermapen mk4 cost 10 times more, the minor difference in read temps and time to acquire seem like a reasonable trade off for the price. There's a magnet built into the back side which is a nice touch if you wanna keep this attached to the side of your fridge, or BBQ.

I got this just in time for Thanksgiving. It worked great on the turkey. I did have to use another item to get the silver tip out of his holder and beware that when propped loose it springs back to the straight position. Looking forward to using when cooking again.

The book is missing a most important item: a glossary of terms. The organization is not good. Soups can be found all over the book although there is a specific section for it. There are repetitions of recipes (like Pasta Carbonara in page 137 and 316) that could easily have been placed together. The book is fun but extremely heavy, making it almost impossible to use in a small kitchen.

When our kitchen thermometer recently went out and I over cooked the pork roast, I went looking for a new one. I found Easdaily Fast Easy Food Thermometer. For the price I figured I could take the chance and give it a try.I found that it was very easy to use and the screen was very easy to read. The flip open prong makes it easy to store without bending the prong. When closing the prong it powers off to save battery.The reading of the food is almost instantaneous and seems to be accurate. When I was using it at the bbq I found out by accident that it has a magnet in the handle that could be put on the side of the bbq for easy access. My only con is that the handle seemed flimsy in the hand and could possibly crack if dropped a couple of times.For the price go for it maybe buy a couple.

Seems to work well. However, product was incomplete. It was shipped without a battery cover.

I BBQ and smoke alot of meat more than 3 times a week on average. There are sooo many times that you need the target temperature and have to try to think back .. ok now whats the done temp of chicken.. This thermometer takes care of that problem. It has a spring loaded wand that when closed turns the unit off. It's instant read on temperature including what seems to be a very close approximation of the temperature outside before I put it into the meat. It also has a magnet on the back of it so I keep it on the fridge right where I can always find it. I got a deal on this item for purposes of review but it is definitely worth full price.

Works exactly as advertised. Quick and accurate measurement on easy to read digital display. Also handy to have recommended meat temps printed on handle, which stays cool to touch. Folds down easily for storage, and has a magnet on handle so you can keep it on fridge, etc. Works great for meat and candy, casseroles, etc. I was finally able to get an accurate measurement to make a perfect batch of fudge. :-) I highly recommend this thermometer!

Stopped reading temp after only a few times. Changed batteries and no improvement. I thought with all the positive reviews, it would be good - obviously I was wrong. I won't buy again. I was really hoping this would have been a good product.
