Laptop Cooling Pad

Not top quality but works great if a little noisy. Was having heat troubles on my gaming laptop especially on cyberpunk on max foe example. This help lower temps by a decent amount from80 to around 70. Cheap but still good quality and defiantly helps with heat control, but is a bit loud and reasonably sturdy.

Laptop temperature dropped 15C and laptop fan spins at lower RPM when you put the all fans at maximum speed. I use Linux so I can track temperature and fan RPM. My laptop sucks air from the bottom which is very important if you want to see a temperature decrease. When it's on your lap you can feel the breeze. Very impressive performanceSize is ideal for a 15in laptop and weight is around 1kg. Can you feel the extra weight on your lap? Yes but it's not a problem.Is it silent? If the TV is open or you are listening to music even at maximum speed you cannot hear it. But if you are in silent room even at lower speed you can hear it. Is it annoying? It's like the sound of a desktop PC. After all it uses fans...Is build quality bad? No! Is it premium? No! It's exactly what you paid for. It's a metal/plastic structure that looks and is sturdy.What can be improved is to add a point where you can attach the USB cable that is used to power the pad

Got a good fit. The plastic edges and metal grill over the fans is nice to balance out weight/texture friendly. Doesn't feel too flimsy for the price.Although the base that allows the metal bars to lift the laptop up doesn't feel as secure as it could be and the angle at which the laptop sits feels a bit strange (only been using it for an hour) so more comfortable angles would be great.Over all for the price this is more than expected. Recommend for a low budget.The extra USB port at the back is nice (this replaces the one used to power the cooling pad).

I bought this product because my laptop would shut itself off every time I ran two programs at once. It would over heat. I used to have to use a bedroom fan pointing at the vents to prevent this from happening. That is until I bought this product. The laptop sits on top of the fans which are quiet and surprisingly efficient. They are no where near as powerful as a room fan and so I was skeptical, but they work just fine. I do have the fans on the top setting and the noise is noticeable but not loud in my opinion nor unpleasant. And if you have your laptop sound on you won’t hear the fans at all.

For me this cooling pad worked very well- after playing minecraft java at 1080p medium at 180-220fps I found that my laptop was getting pretty hot so limited the fps to 60 which helped a lot but after getting the cooling pad my temperature had dropped by another 8-10 °c and my laptop has a small intake vent so I'm sure it could be more effective on laptops with larger intake vents. Plus fantastic value for £20.

I bought this fan in April 2021 to try and help my laptop stay cooler and healthier (in fact, I actually sent back another fan to buy this one, having decided this one looked to be better).And for a while I was quite happy with it. The fan strength on the highest setting isn't very strong, but I felt it helped keep the laptop cooler than it would be otherwise. Add on to that the fact there's a little flip-out support to keep the laptop on (cushioned on the inside with foam), a metal rather than plastic grid upon which the laptop rests, and the ability to adjust the angle - with a metal bar providing the vertical support upon the plastic base - and it seemed pretty good! The angle helps to provide room for the fans to draw in more air, so I feel it makes a difference practically as much as ergonomically. There's more foam cushioning beneath the plastic base too, so no rough plastic resting on a desk.The main initial downside was that, although you can turn off the light for the little panel telling you the fan strength, you can't turn off the lights for the fan blades. But if that's a downside, it's hardly the biggest problem.So, if that were the end of, I'd rate it 4 star due to fan strength being less than expected, but it doing the job.Around November/December 2021 however, one side of the plastic base broke. I tend to use the fan and laptop while lying in bed, resting it on a cushion, or with it on my lap rather than a desk - so perhaps that put on extra leverage or something. With the fan still working (and I think it was outside the return window) we fixed it up - and got some more life out of it.After that, around December, the cable that powers it stopped working consistently (stress around where the cable goes into the USB, I think). Bought a replacement cable, and it would work again without problem.Then, last month, the plastic base broke again - you can see the break in the picture, this time on both sides. The plastic just seems too brittle for that part of the stand: it either needs to be more solid, reinforced or a material better suited to that part. So while the fan still works, I can't prop it up at an angle (which I think means it doesn't work quite as well) and the broken plastic supports stick out, unable to be removed without breaking them out (which I'll probably have to do).Having it last and work as intended and sold for basically just 1 year (and with problems in that time) has lost it a star.In my mind? Unless they seriously improve this, keep searching. I'll keep using mine because I can't really afford to buy another and the fan at least is still working, but if I knew this would be a problem when buying, I wouldn't have.

A very useful tool

Looks great, works great BUT does nothing to help cool the laptop. Except looking good, absolutely and completely useless. When used under heavy load, it actually makes the laptop hotter than when its just placed on a flat surface...weird, but order one and convince yourself!Later edit: USELESS!!!!!!!Even later edit: its in the trash as off now...piece of ga*****...hate the noise, hate the incredibly annoying light (you can turn in off), hate the display, hate the cheap plastic, hate the sort of design...just buy a quality one, this one is not worth the money, wait, and God forbids you have any expectations to actually do anything to cool down your laptop. Why do you sell these?!? Why? Wanted to return it, but was affraid you’ll resell it as “refurbished” and distroy someone elses dreams of Biden being a president :))))...ok, got lost now...Its just pure c*@p
