How long does it take to dry?

It took 30 minutes not to show fingerprints. Was still tacky. Left the parts overnight to dry completely.

Does this work with aluminum?

Epoxy will stick to most anything, including Aluminum. BUT, since metals change "shape" with temperature it may not stick for too long. So the answer is an official "it depends".

Is this epoxy flexible?

The manufacturer said: "MID-CURE is our most flexible epoxy."

Has anyone used this on fishing rods for repairing a broken rod and sealing the guide thread?

No, straight up it won't work. It will need some form of a splint. So, if you find a tube that just fits over each end of the broken rod, and use the glue to hold the broken ends in the tube, then it will probably work. Or maybe an actual splint lashed to the rod and use the glue to hold the splint and lashing in place. No glue by itself will provide the support you need.
