JMK 02602 Folding Pick Up Tool - 3 Feet

I'm an expert at litter getters. The only thing going for these is compactness. They will break easily and will not pickup a heavy load. Not for heavy duty use. Good for around the house picking up light items you drop.

So far, so good. I had one like it before and it worked great for three years before the cable broke. This one is much lighter-weight and I hesitate to try to pick up anything very heavy or from overhead, but it works fine for clothes and easily picks up even tiny bits of paper, small jewelry parts, etc.

I opened the packaging, extended the wand and locked it into place, squeezed the trigger 2 times and then it stuck inside the handle. Couldn't get the trigger to release (after numerous attempts), until I folded the wand in half again, at which point, I think it must have snapped/damaged the cable inside. Trigger doesn't work. This thing is a piece of garbage and it is not worth the hassle of $8 to return it (no exchanges offered through amazon for this product) and then order a new one.

Not good. This product is very delicate. It does extend a bit but no much. Additionally, it cannot pick up much. I tried to bring down a 2 inch small book and it couldn't. So, since it will cost me more to return it, I stayed with it but I don't recommend it at all except for reaching for very light objects and objects that are not too far away either.

I rate this cause this is a great tool for picking up stuff on the sidewalk or street. That way you don't have to use your hands to pick up garbage. This tool can fold easily. This tool has a good grip of picking up anything. I would recommend this to a family member or friend.

Locking button sticks. Had to tape it open. Does the job though.

I bought this as a gift for a relative who is in nursing home and everything is out of her reach. She was very happy with it and it has helped her greatly.

It broke the first time I used it and it isn't worth the cost to ship back. I took the plastic off and put it in the recycle bin.
