Best book
I bought this book the same night I found out I was pregnant and my son loved it. He still reads it to me and his new baby brother.

Great book for my 10 year old stepson
We got this for my 10 year old stepson. Technically it’s aimed at kids just a little bit younger but it did its job. It was easy for him to read and understand. When we have had conversations with him after on how to do things with his little brother he will say “I know, I read it in the book”. I feel like it helped his confidence in being a big brother and would reccomend the book for kiddos that are becoming a big brother for the first time.

Great for photo prop!
Purchased for a photo prop! The book itself is a great read for older siblings! Perfect for my 6 year old!

Let's talk about being a big brother
This book aims to address various anxiety provoking situations that might arise before and after the birth or adoption of a sibling to a boy of approximately kindergarten age. Using the voice of an older male, the author addresses each of the possible situations. For each scenario the author the author addresses what might be on the boy's mind under 2 topics. First, "what can we do together," activities for the boy and his parents and activities for the boy and the new sibling. Second, "what do I think," anxiety provoking thoughts as well as what the future might be like. The topic is a relevant one and is presented with helpful suggestions as well as advantages of being a big brother. The publisher provided a copy of the book. The opinion is mine.

Perfect for 10 year old soon to be big brother
My grandson really likes the book. It was a xmas gift so he didn't pay much attention to it while unwrapping glow in the dark basketball....but after getting it home and Mom and Dad reading it with him, I was told he really loved it! Very cute pictures and just the right advice and ideas for a child of various ages to glean from. It gave useful and helpful things that can get a soon to be older sibling involved and feel a part of the experience. Highly recommend.

Great gift for a sibling
My brother recently had his second child. I gifted this to my older nephew (8 years) as a baby-shower present so he would feel included, and he was so excited to get a gift and to be a part of the preparations for baby brother! I flipped through the book and it is age appropriate, helpful, positive, and features diverse families. Great little token of acknowledgement for a first time big brother who is nervous about his new responsibilities!

Not for toddlers
I think the book was nice. However it is geared to a much older sibling and I was under the impression this book would be suitable for a 4 year old. It is not. The book is well written and includes a ton of information some of which I think could be unnecessary.
