* Very nice Soji screen for the price…*
Beautiful and quality item for the price. No flaws in the wood or within the rice paper portion whatsoever. I actually wasn’t expecting it to look so nice. I love the heavy-duty rice paper they used, not flimsy at all. And I appreciate the hardware is a somewhat darker brass color, not bright brass.Unfortunately, I thought I ordered the 3-feet high screen, and it appears I goofed and ordered the2-foot screen by mistake. So the one I just received today, I will need to return, but in 2-days I’ll have the correct size that I just ordered. This will be perfect perfect for those times I want some privacy in front of my large kitchen window, particularly in the evenings ;-)I wouldn’t hesitate buying, just also make sure you measure your area carefully and note the screen’s measurements - the 3-foot high replacement I just ordered an hour ago, actually has wider panels, by5.5 inches, than the original 2-feet high screen I accidentally purchased. That screen had 12-inch wide panels. I still bought the 3-panel screen, though, with both items. But since the taller screen has wider, 17.5 inch width panels, I could have definitely gotten by with a 2-panel screen. However, the manufacturer does not make a2-panel screen with its 3-feet high version. But I will make it work!!!And it did look lovely in front of my window and coordinated well with my honey colored, solid oak cabinets. Can’t wait to get the taller replacement this weekend!!

Alternative to cafe curtains on extra-wide windows
I bought these short screens ten years ago as a privacy solution for extra-wide sidewalk-facing windows that would have benefited from cafe curtains, but were too wide to accommodate curtain rods. These screens are lightweight, attractive, and sit solidly on a level window sill by slightly folding them at each two-way hinge. The fabric-reinforced paper lets through a lot of light. I did put strips of vinyl tape between the panels so passers-by couldn't peek into the living room. The screens have survived three major moves with minor damage to the paper on two of six screens. They aren't what I'd call durable, but were definitely more durable than I expected. They have been marred by years of use, though, so I'm buying new ones now for another long window. The house is old and the sill is tilted, but by securing one end of each four-panel screen onto either end of the eight-foot wide window, I can fold them open to let the sunlight in or fold them closed when I want privacy, and still see the magnificent view across the hills.

Just What I Needed
This was perfect for what I needed. My wife wanted "Asian-style" end tables but all the ones she looked at were the cost of an arm, a leg, and my firstborn and I wasn't about to pay that price. So she came up with a creative idea to use a Shoji screen for an innovative alternative. She took the hinges of two sides and used little "L" brackets to hold the screens together while keeping one side of hinges in tact so she could have a kind of "door" to access the inside for storage. She took the table top from separate end tables and repurposed them to be used as the top for these new end tables. White MDF board was used for the bottom and the removable shelving on the inside which was covered in black, wood-textured contact paper. She used a little magnetic cabinet lock to hold the "door" shut and keep it from spontaneously swinging open.Even though this wasn't the intended purpose of this Shoji screen, it makes for fairly sturdy end tables. The white "paper" is more of a fibrous cloth-like material, think of a thick dryer sheet. It's durable and has held up very well. The only negative thing I could probably say about this Shoji screen is the wood used for the framing is extremely soft and delicate. Take extra caution when opening the screen so you don't yank too hard and ruin the holes for the hinges. Other than that, I would certainly purchase this again to use as intended and for unusual projects!

Excellent cubicle divider
My cubicle sits opposite an office and without this screen we’d be staring at each other all day. This screen is quite attractive. It’s mentioned in the description but it’s worth repeating that the lattice is only on one side but the shadow is seen through the other side so it’s still good-looking especially for the price. It was well-packaged and sound. The hinges are more prominent than I’d truly like but given the price and rarity of an attractive desktop divider, this one fits the bill just fine. When I leave this job, I’ll take my divider with me. Would definitely be an attractive backdrop on a bureau or table.

2 ft Window Pane Shoji Screen
Really nice shoji screen that fits my windows perfectly. It is lightweight and easy to move from place to place., the panel's height and material allow in a lot of light at the same time adding a sense of privacy. I like that I can close one panel in the morning in order to have a wider view and then open it in the evening hours to have a nice cozy feeling of not being on display. The screen was nicely packed and delivered promptly. Many thanks
