Miracle Product
Was diagnosed with life threatening Pulmonary Hypertension 6 months ago and in trying to determine what may have caused that Dr performed sleep study found out I had sleep apnea of 96 episodes an hour- that means I was stopping breathing 96 times per hour- yikes! Also I could sleep on average only about 4 hours per night which includied waking to use the bathroom about twice so I was constantly exhausted. I was fitted with cpap machine pressure 15 which is pretty high and reduced my apnea down to about 6 to 7 per hour but I was frequently being awakened by the mask losing its fit resulting in these "farting" sounds which was air escaping around the mask, especially around my nasal area. So I was still only getting about 4 hours sleep but now I was waking about 1 an hour by mask noise and having to adjust that. I had even been fitted with a different style mask which didn't help out of desperation I contacted my Dr and asked advice. She immediately suggested this product and said it was available on Amazon. So I looked it up and immediately was skeptical/concerned because it is cloth that fits over the face mask and I thought that's like a washcloth and it's going to feel like I'm being smothered- but I ordered it anyway only because my Dr recommended it. So it came yesterday and last night was first time to use it and it was WONDERFUL! I'm so thrilled! It's a very soft fabric just slips over the mask it has a hole in the middle and it completely eliminated all the leaks last night not a single one. I slept 6 1/2 hours which I haven't done for years and I only woke one time then for just a few minutes when the dog jumped on me went right back to sleep and no bathroom runs and best of all only had 2.8 apnea per hour. This seems like a miracle to me because I've basically been tortured by this machine the last 6 months, also another problem I'd been experiencing was air from the vent holes blowing on my eyes and that was virtually eliminated by the way the cover fits so I'd recommend it based on that alone. And the feel is extremely comfortable the soft cloth feels much nicer than the silicone barrier around the mask it was like I barely had the mask on. I am so grateful to whoever invented this and to my Dr for recommending it!!!I highly recommend to any cpap user.

Expensive but works
5 stars because it works. -2 stars due to the ridiculous price that I paid... but that's my fault. You don't need to make the same mistake. $35 for a pair of these is highway robbery and I still paid it.It works as advertised and I was a sucker to purchase it at the crazy expensive price. But I was desperate as the silicon was causing my skin to peel and get irritated... waking up with a red mark around your nose and mouth with peeling skin is not the look I'm going for. I think this was happening from moisture getting locked in from the built-in humidifier of my cpap machine. With these covers, that no longer happens. So they work and I like them. Just paid too much.Wish I read more reviews to get the small woman's low-cut sock idea... will try that too for a fraction of the price.

Much cheaper than replacement cushions
I have very oily skin, and had to wash my cushion daily and change it monthly or it wouldn't seal. I thought I would try these to see if they would help. So far they are working well, there is a bit of air leakage and I have to have the straps tighter, but there is none of the annoying noise associated with the leakage. I also haven't had the skin irritation I sometimes get with the silicone cushions. They seem like a less expensive alternative to changing my expensive cushions. My only criticism is that they are not custom made to a particular mask, and that the opening must be hand cut. It would be nice if they would custom make them to fit the popular masks.

Price Gouging Personified
I would give this item a 5 star rating if it weren't so outrageously overpriced. I'm convinced it's due to Medicare gouging. I cannot sleep without my CPAP, and this cover keeps the silicon off my skin. The silicon was sweaty making my skin break out in rashes. Definitely much more comfortable than without. However, from now on, I will make my own for about a quarter each.

Better but not perfect
Most leak whistles have been muffled, but the material brushes against eyes and also puts too much pressure on bridge of my nose. I changed from a medium mask (for which the liners were ordered) to a small mask - but had already fit them for the medium one. I pinched up some of the elastic and took a few stitches to make the liner smaller.

I don't think these are worth the price. They ...
I don't think these are worth the price. They are thick and you'll have to resize the hole which frays and gets into your mouth while sleeping. I just cut some squares out of soft cotton cloths- cut diamonds out of the middle and tucked the corners in the mask works and it's free.

Expensive but good
I was pleased with the cover, but surprised at the price. Seemed really expensive, but I gave it a try. They do help with comfort and keeping lines on my face to a minimum.

Great concept but too expensive
Not great for the $$$. Another reviewer recommended PEDS so I tried them and I found the super soft microfiber PEDS work great at a fraction of the cost and are much softer than these.
