Dragon Shields Sleeves - Black

These are amazing and totally worth the price. They look like sleek leather spandex and feel amazing to shuffle. I make sure to show off my black foil cards as much as possible with these on.Warning: Do not have these shipped to overseas by themselves or they will come in a soft, bubble-wrapped envelope the size of a hamburger and box will be hopelessly mangled and the shields warped/bent. You will spend more time waiting for the shields to straighten out under a heavy book than waiting for the item to arrive on its own. Solution: try to ship this with something else so it gets a nice cardboard Amazon box.

Unfortunately the days of Ultra Pro or even PKK Gaming Products manufacturing deck protectors with nice boxes have ended, and we are left with these horribly designed deck holders. When I started playing Magic 11 years ago, the most common deck holder was the box the sleeves came in, and they fit perfectly in the white boxes that are purchases for a dollar or so. Can't do that with the current line of crap, and at the moment the Dragon Shield deck protector line is the only option I have found. The boxes are a bit flimsy, not as sturdy as the other older counter-parts, but it beats those horrible deck holders. Then again, that's how I was introduced and newer players into the scene may be comfortable with the current setup. For the other crowd who stores them the way I do, their an okay option until something else comes along.

What I like best about Dragon Shield sleeves is that they don't have the sleeve logo on the face of the sleeve. Ultra-pro sticks their shiny logo on the bottom of the card, which distracts from the aesthetics. Dragon Shield sleeves also have a long lifespan.

Dragon Shields are the best trading card sleeves available. They may be a little pricey, but they are well worth the protection. These sleeves were delivered well by Amazon and have a great selection of colors.

In my opinion Dragon Shield sleeves in any color are the best quality card sleeve you can get for the price. They are durable, fit the card perfectly, they shuffle well and they look great.

These are some awesome sleeves with a great feel and look to them and the box is big and sturdy enough to use for holding a sleeved standard MTG deck.
