Pregnancy Blood Test

Very easy to use. I was nervous as I had seen bad reviews. Just make sure you read the instructions carefully and thoroughly before starting the process. I was able to get enough blood to fill the pipette very easily. The kit comes with everything you need even an alcohol pad. Plus an extra lancet in case you need it. I didn't need mine.

Only one finger prick worked and the tube to suck up the blood didn't work so I had to drip directly from finger. Not sure how reliable it is, took a while first the test to clear enough to see the line

Not sure how accurate the test is as the blood clots very fast.It was difficult to collect all the requested blood without clotting.

Does what it should, easy to use and read.

DO NOT BUY. FALSE POSITIVE WILL GIVE U FALSE HOPE. this product has given me a false positive. If you don't want to get your hopes up and be crushed do not purchase.

I don’t normally leave reviews but I wanted to about this.The test came well packaged etc and in my opinion with really good instructions of how to use.I gave it a 4* only on the fact that I had trouble with the pins (if that’s what there called) and then they both failed to work. I easily took it apart and then used the needle that way.I did have to squeeze the life out my finger :D but if you hold the pipit gently to the blood it goes up easily.I then popped the blood in the device and waited 30 seconds then added the liquid (4 drops)I waited 5 mins and then read the result.Admittedly I was sneaking peaks at the test whilst it did it’s thing but to start with it did look like a faint positive but after 5 mins it went negative so I’m guessing that’s just it at work.I would buy this again :)

I read the instructions several times and took the procedure very seriously. When I started blood collection I realised that there was no way I would be able to fill the tube as multiple clots and air bubbles formed over the minutes I was frantically squeezing blood. I ended up splodging a single drop straight from my finger onto the testing well (with a clot that I squeezed from the tube). Obviously this was not nearly enough blood, and I had to add several more drops of diluent than advised to get the pink to flow. I knew my result would be invalid because of this palava, but it was still upsetting reading the negative result. If done correctly, I am sure the test would be accurate, and my online research backs this up. But harvesting blood this way is quite difficult. When my baby was a newborn he had RSV and I remember the hospital doctors and nurses struggling with this method too.
