These mugs are awesome! I have tried several brands and products and these are the best. 100% copper that keeps your drink extra cool for many hours. Not to mention the box comes with the recipe! LOVE LOVE LOVE!

Arrived NICKEL LINED as of 8/17/2016. Purchased specifically as a 100% solid copper unlined mug. Despite the photos, Q&A, and description, what arrived was not what was ordered.

Good purchase and product doesn't disappoint. Especially when your mule is poured to the brim.

I realize that a review of a free product is something fundamentally different than that of a product for which one has paid, and that it's not what you're here to see. However, I do believe that such reviews can be helpful when the process is respected, and I've tried to do that here.What you're getting with this order:(4) Copper Mugs-SmoothWhat are these, and why might I want one?:The past couple of years have seen a resurgence of the Moscow Mule, a Vodka, Ginger Beer and Lime Juice cocktail invented and popularized in the '40s. Moscow Mules have traditionally been served in copper mugs, said to keep the drink cooler than other options. Some even say that the copper enhances the flavor of the vodka and the fizz of the ginger beer. The merits of these claims aside, the mugs represent tradition and proper presentation of the drink.Do these mugs meet expectations?:Appearance: These mugs look the part; a smooth copper finish on the outside and inside with a brass handle.Function: The copper is said to keep the drink cooler for longer periods of time, and the brass handle is said to keep the 98.6 degree heat of the hand off of the body of the mug. I cannot say if any of these things actually help more than a little bit, but the nickel lining does make sense to me.Anything else of note?:-At the posting of this review, the mugs are eligible for free shipping to members of Amazon Prime.-Product description claims 100% pure copper. I tested with magnet and there was no magnetic effect and that is one of the tests for actual copper.Any negatives?:-There are some dents/indentations. Product chalks these up to the hand made nature of manufacture.Bottom line: While there are several reasons why a Moscow Mule is served in a copper mug, the most important one is tradition. These mugs give the proper appearance for the serving of that popular cocktail and any of the other perceived benefits are simply icing on the cake. Enjoy!

I bought these as gifts to send to the IT guys that support me in my work with notes that said "Because I'm likely the reason you drink". :) The guys loved them, and I'm told they are being used frequently. I would definitely purchase again.

This is a classic Moscow Mule mug made of copper with no lining. It has the Saint Jacques logo imprinted on the bottom. These mugs are designed for mixed drinks, but copper is a natural antibacterial and is suitable for any cold beverage.I received only one mug, which would be a representative sample of the set of four that one would get if they ordered this set from Amazon. My mug was almost perfect. The handle was well attached, the bottom was flat, and there were no visible flaws. There was a small dent on the bottom of my mug, but it was not enough that it bothered me or that I'd have even noticed it had I not been inspecting it closely.If you like Moscow Mules, they are certainly best served in copper mugs. I have enjoyed using this mug with my drinks and with water. The handle isn't the most comfortable to hold, but it's fine, and my drinks stay nice and cold when I use this mug.I received the mug free in return for my honest review.
