Helps with Escape Artists!
We affectionately call these "life preservers" because it looks like that's what they're wearing, but, actually, it DOES save their life. We had a dog that was a "squeezer". He is a beagle who would squeeze under our chain link fence or any opening he could find in it. (Anyone who's ever had a missing dog knows how terrifying that is). We're so thrilled that we found Puppy Bumpers! They are the perfect solution and it's not super expensive (compared to putting things on your fence to prevent escape). It keeps him from escaping now! We have two dogs around the same age (3) who are constantly wrestling with one another. When they get crazy with it, there are sometimes rips in their life preserver. (we got the ultra one so it would be tougher material) We don't fault Puppy Bumpers for this. This is a good quality product that will last indefinitely if your dog is more gentle. If your dog is a rough & tumble sort of k9, it might last for a year or so before it needs replacing. (You can do minor rip repairs yourself, but, when there are too many and it starts looking shabby because of it, you'll know when a new one is needed) If your dog is rough & tumble or if they like to dig or roll around outside, I recommend the camo print or one that has browns and greens because this will hide the dirt better.A collar is needed to thread the bumper through so it stays on. If you get a clip-style collar, it's quick and easy to put on and remove.

Works Great!
We're a month into owning this for our 12-pound Westie Yorkie. Prior to the puppy bumper aka boppy (we call it the dog's "boppy" because it looks like the baby pillow boppies), our dog had squeezed through our wrought iron fence 3-4 times in the month we've lived in our new house. Ha! The fence was put in only for the dog, live and learn, but now things are good again. We just slap the puppy bumper on and let her loose. She can't get out. It's great.

It Works!
This serves it's purpose. I have a 10 lb. chiweenie dog and my house is elevated with a wrap around porch. She has never tried to get of the porch in between the slated but I feel much better about my dog not being able to get out. Also to purchase this would be a lot cheaper than a vet bill if she gets hurt. And I don't have to worry about her running off. It looks rather goofy but oh well, it works!

Well, I can't really say whether it works or not. My dog took it off over his head as soon as I put it on him. Attaching it to his collar just makes it easier for him to get it off. If I tightened his own collar so it would not come off he would choke himself trying to get out of this.

Highly recommend if you have a balcony and small dog.

This works perfect for my tiny dog
This works perfect for my tiny dog! He can't get out of the fence and he doesn't mind wearing it at all!

Mostly works
My dog should be named Houdini I guess because even with the bumper and wire he manages to get out of the fence especially if it is thundering.
