Tzou Dog Safety Collar, Yellow, Large

I accidentally order two small, but was pleased to find out they both fit. 28 lb cock-a-shon with a little room to spare and 42 lb boxer but only as large as it can go, so no growing room. I ordered the blue and they both lite up really well, but could be a little brighter. Since I have very strong dogs, these will not be used as their regular collars since the clasp are made of plastic and are a slide snap clasp, but they are a great addition for night time wear. I think these are a great buy for the price.

We have a labradoodle who is chocolate brown. At night when she is doing her business she scares people as they walk by, she never barks and just magically shows up and says hi. We wanted to be able to warn our neighbors a dog was out there, so this collar was the perfect find. It arrived well packaged and with an extra light. After five months we needed to replace the light, as the original one had some blank spots. Also the collar is starting to loosen on its own faster and faster (we will tighten it, and by the end of the next day it can fall off on its own). I think for the price and the novelty of a glowing collar you will not be able to find a better price. It is a really nice looking collar that works pretty well.

Had it for quite a while now works fine, haven't had to replace the battery yet. Usage is on average about 5 to 10 min a day almost every day for about a year now. I had bought similar collars before and they all seem to have same problem, the LED light source emitter which is connected to the battery casing gets separated from the guiding channel inside the collar. With this collar it's an easy fix, you just have to get the slipped guiding tube pull a little and re-insert LED light source plastic into it. If not for this I would give it 5 stars.

First i will say this collar does do what I need it to in that I can see where my dog is when its dark. However I only gave it 4 stars because 1) there's a large gap between where it buckles, and where the light ends. 2) I went according to the neck measurements and the medium barely fits my dogs neck... And there should have been a few inches of space. 3) it gets loose extremely easy so I wouldn't want to use it for walks.Other than that its good enough for the intended purpose.... I just better hope my dog doesn't put on any weight..... Ever!

This collar is exactly what it says, however the quality is fairly low. If you're looking for something that your dog will wear often, I would spend more end get something else. It seems like the edges are a little bit rough, otherwise I would give it a higher rating. Takes a long time to arrive because it is coming from China. The visibility is good, however there is a part of the collar that does not light up because it is involved with the switching on end off end the buckle so all in all, only about half of the collar lights up. There is a switch that allows you to switch between a couple of different blinking modes or steady light shining.

I purchased three of these collars. I bought the blue, orange, and red collars. The blue and orange collars work great I have had them a few months and not had a problem at all with them. The light is very bright and I have no trouble keeping track of my dogs when I let them out at night. However, the red collar was a piece of junk. Had a short it it from the first use. Not saying it is that particular color, but was not happy that I had to purchase another one. Honestly it's only a few bucks so I'm not too worried about it. Also, shipping takes several weeks.

I bought this for my 12yr old female chocolab/pitbull mix Sage, she is a creampuff and not street smart as we live in the woods so the blinking pink combined with a nite-eyez medallion make her look like a UFO is wandering the yard, but would easily save her life if she wandered down to the street as its highly visible.I like that they wrap the battery case to allow rain use and splash level wetness without damage.I wish this used a AAA battery instead of the cr2016 for longer life, brighter lite and easier replacement (or recharging).

Not made of strong/heavy material. The metal ring you attach the leash to is not secured very well to the collar. Just a tiny bit of nylon is wrapped around the ring and that is sewn between the seams of the upper and lower pieces of the collar. The ring ripped out after being used once. Now we just put the light up collar on with the dog’s regular collar when walking after dark, and we attach the leash to the other collar. As for the light up function, it works fine and is fairly bright.
