Eloquent and moving
This first time poet, hits a home run first time at bat. She draws you in with her strong imagery and perceptive comments on love and life and maturing. Her writing takes you deeper into her heart as you read and reread each poem. She has a unique voice and one that seems to get right to the center of things. We enjoyed her book so much we've already sent it to various friends, young and old.We couldn't recommend this collection highly enough.

a wise and funny ode to resilience
This book stays with you long after it is read. The author's indefatigable spirit shines through these poems as does the whimsy and wit in the accompanying art. This work is a testament to the author's vitality and creativity, undaunted by the inevitable challenges of aging and loss. Mrs. Levitas' perspective on life is an inspiration to all of us.

Sisu -- a wonderful marriage between poetry and art
Sisu, the first book of poetry by Aura Levitas, is a winner. Poems range from poignant to witty and are enhanced by her artwork that has been showcased at galleries in NYC and Southampton. The book's themes of love, loss, friendship and aging make this slim volume something you will want to reread and to share with friends.

Very charming book
I loved the art and the poems. The book was reminiscent of an earlier more innocent time before the social media took over our lives.
