Love this stuff
I have been buying a similiar product from NAPA for years but the tubes keep getting smaller and the prices keep going up. Was happy to find this product for WAY less money per ounce. I use this stuff on every bolt I want to ever get back out of my car or bikes here in the North East. As well as many other uses.

Read lots of reviews on brake grease...
I have read a lot of negative reviews on brake grease. I wish there was one brand I could trust, but this seems like a good one. Hope I'm right. Bad stuff results in frozen calipers and ruined brake pads and rotors.

great clear grease
no little portion packet for me - a tub of grease. Pssst . . .scoop some out on a piece of paper before you begin to keep tup clean. you are welcome!

Tub container
Really like it in the tub form, no more trying to dig out the last of product at the bottom of the plastic bottle containers.

It's good for more than just vehicle brake slide pins!
I honestly tried to avoid buying this stuff, but I must admit that even brake greases that are supposed to be good for all brake applications (including the very expensive Permatex stuff), it's this that everyone recommends. I had recently watched a YouTube video where the mechanic I follow did a short on this product (it wasn't even a promotional video) and he said to not use anything else... but Sil Glyde for brake slide pins.I think people often get hung up on what works with rubber... and this stuff *is* safe to use in applications with rubber (ie, it won't cause it to degrade), but the magic of this stuff is that it also stands up to the very harsh environment (read: extremely HOT) where many greases simply start to get hard/solidify and then bind up your slide pins. I had this happen with a car that I recently worked on, the rear brake slide pins - I needed to use pliers to get the slide pin out, and then I had to use a rotary tool to clean up the rust on the slide pin. It was a mess... and here's the deal, this 12 oz tub of Sil Glyde from Amazon is about the best deal you'll find Sil Glyde, anywhere, and you can use it as a general silicone grease, esp when it comes the grease applied on or near rubber. So, again, you don't have to be a mechanic to buy a 12 oz tub of this stuff - just use it for other applications, as it's great for many other applications beyond vehicle brake slide pins.
