Energy Boost Gems, Dark Chocolate, 4 Ounce

These taste awesome! It's just like eating a dark chocolate candy bar. But, I get the surge of energy I'm looking for from the caffeine without the crash. As someone who hates coffee, I'm constantly on the lookout for products like these. For years I chewed the energy gums, but I found that they really irritated my gums. Not so with Energems. The only problem I have with them is that I have to exercise a lot of self-control to keep from eating the entire bottle all at once. I have found these at my local Walgreen store for a slightly lower price, but it looked like they had been sitting on the shelf for quite some time. The ones I ordered from Amazon were a lot fresher.

I love these. I first tried these when I bought them in Walmart. Now they almost imposible to find in stores! I really love using them Bc they give me a little boost of energy I need yet Don't cause jitters like caffeine products do plus they taste good!! I received a free sample of a new flavor with my Amazon order and I liked that flavor as well! The serving size is 3 but when studying between college classes (and getting sleepy) 1 gem would wake me up enough to keep me going and also stretch my bottle a little longer.

These are pretty good. Very strong mint flavor and it's effective caffeine-wise. The only thing I can really say negative is you do get a flavor of the caffeine and/or the vitamins, I'm not sure which (or, if it's all combined). There's definitely a non-minty and non-chocolate aftertaste. I've experienced the same flavor / aftertaste with other caffeinated products so I wouldn't be surprised if it was the caffeine itself.

I love these. I enjoy coffee but sometimes it is too harsh for my stomach so I use these instead. They give you a great not jittery alertness and the effects last a long time. They also have B vitamins and other things that I think help raise my energy levels. Also they taste delicious like big m&ms. I am on my 4th bottle and will continue to rebuy!

These are great for a little semi-sweet pick me up. The taste is okay especially if you like dark chocolate. They're like giant dark chocolate m&m's. However, these are obviously not candy so stick to the serving size to avoid jitteriness and an upset stomach. I'm a regular coffee drinker but can still feel a little jolt of energy from the caffeine & B vitamins in these energems. Therefore those who are caffeine sensitive will want to stay away. Pros: • boost of energy • decent taste, no vitamin flavor • convenient packaging Cons: • dark chocolate flavor is a little bitter/intense • 7 grams of sugar per serving • cost is a little high for only 7 servings per bottle (3 energems per serving) I like these and keep them on hand. They're nice to have for a little boost of energy or satisfying an occasional sweet tooth without breaking my calorie budget (50 cal. per serving).

I really like these because you can just pop them in your mouth and get some caffeine and go on your way. This is probably my most favorite and convenient caffeine chocolate product to date. There is a bit of a medicine-y caffeine powder aftertaste, but the dark chocolate hides it well. I also like that there is L-theanine in here because that keeps you from getting to jittery when you are super caffeinated and some B vitamins thrown in as well. They gave me a sample pack of the mint chocolate ones, and they were great too. I actually liked the 3-pack idea because then I can throw them in my pocket when I'm rounding in the hospital in case I start getting sleepy in the morning or after lunchtime

Tastes good, but not a product that makes a difference in energy, which is the reason one would purchase this product.

I am so happy with this seller. When I received my bottle of Energems, they had melted. The seller immediately replied to inquiry, and sent me a replacement--plus generous samples--of other flavors. No hassle, no questions asked, just courteous and speedy customer service. Ideal; all sellers should be so great to work with. The product is good--one candy is 30mg of caffeine which is like a cup of green tea, or 25% of a Starbucks drip coffee. It's small enough (unlike NoDoz), that you can have just one candy at a time, and space them over a few hours to avoid jitters or anxiety. This is very useful when wakefulness is necessary for safety, like driving, or for intense work periods. I have reflux, so I am supposed to limit or eliminate my coffee consumption. This is a great alternative for when I really need to focus.
