DIY Wooden Hibiscus Growth Chart

I bought the live laugh love design for my little ones and the hibiscus and rocket designs as gifts. It's great that I can always refer to the positive words on growth chart whenever we talk about our values. On the product itself - putting together all the pieces was simple. I attached the design on a darker stained board. The lighter stain works well with the plywood pieces. The stain makes the color more uniform but you can still see the wood grain. For the other 2 designs I did the same but with different color stains. The lighter stain does a better job that either paint or dark stains. 1 of the rocket pieces was slightly warped from the packaging maybe. It took some work to straighten that piece out. Besides that 1 problem, I'm happy with the results!

At the time, something was wrong with the product, but I didn't know what. My daughter and I were redoing her room and having a fun time painting this product. BUT THEN, we put all the pieces together and realized... iT WAS MISSING A PIECE, but didn't realize that until I painted it. I had to put a piece of matching paper in the middle of the chart to make it line up with a yard stick and now I've painted it so that I can't return it. I also can't order ANOTHER one because the Item isn't available. I Made it work, but VERY UNHAPPY.

When it arrived I was pretty disappointed :/ It's flimsy, thin wood in multiple pieces I'll have to hot glue together. I would have paid $15 tops had I known it'd be like this. The design is nice at least, and it came on time.

Using the command strips are a fantastic idea! This makes for a good 15 minute project with really beautiful results. We didn't need to paint the growth chart. It's fine writing directly on the wood.

Item arrived with one of the pieces missing! Disappointing!
