Great for paramedic students and for review
Bought this in medic school and it was well worth the money. It helped with cardiology immensely. Several other students in my class also wanted to use it. Once I finished school, a lot of my senior medics were impressed at my competence in EKG interpretation and knowledge of cardiology. I can’t say it was solely because of this book, but I can say this was a huge factor in my success.Easy to read and understand, definitely recommend to medic students (or anyone that needs help with EKG interpretation).

Easy to Read, Easy to Understand and Great examples!
Excellent EKG Interpretation Manual for my Nursing Student Granddaughter. As an RN, I was able to explain many of the various topics with many clear examples of the irregular heart beats or other cardiac issues. It is easy to read and easy to understand with many examples of EKG Strips that make sense. It is a great resource that she will be able to review for any questionable rhythms.

It is a great book with very good information
It is a great book with very good information. I gave it fours stars only because I am a visual learner and learn best with pictures. With that said, I feel like the book is mainly words rather than pictures to exemplify the words/definitions. Overall, the book is great for those who have learned the basics about ECG's and need to refresh your memory.

Highly recommended!
I just started a new ICU RN internship and was stressing out about the EKG test. They told us that if we didn't pass the EKG test twice, we'd be fired. I'm not very good at reading EKGs. So I bought this book and read it from page one. It took about a week of solid reading and studying to get through it. Much to my surprise... I was one of the few interns that actually passed the EKG test on the first try and didn't have to retake it! I owe that success primarily to this book. Not only does it go over ECG interpretation, but it also discusses interventions and medications.

Highly recommended.
Very well done and includes short quizzes at the end of each chapter. When you scrutinize it as closely as I did, you will find a few typos. Overall, very well written and helpful.

Good ECG and Pacemaker Information
I wanted more information on a heart problem needing a pacemaker. On the internet I could only find either surface deep information or very technical information. This book was recommended by my PA, and turned out to be an excellent resource for relevant information that could be reasonably understood by a person without a medical background.

I would have liked it with less detail and more comparisons of each ...
I didn’t find this book very clear and consice. I would have liked it with less detail and more comparisons of each rhythm.

Good purchase post A&P, pre nursing school.
I love this book. My nursing school only briefly covered lethal rhythms. I barely had time to absorb what was really going on inside the heart. This was just the refresher I needed to really help me understand. I would also recommend it for pre/mid/post nursing school and those type A new grads going to tele floors. 😘
