I was looking for something beginner friendly, low pressure, and realistic for those of us who want to enjoy playing without immediately getting humbled by sheet music that looks like advanced math. This ended up being exactly the kind of book I needed. Using just three chords keeps things simple, but it still feels satisfying because you are playing real songs and not just poking at keys hoping it somehow counts as music. What I like is how approachable it feels. The songs are easy enough that I could sit down and start making progress without getting frustrated five minutes in, which is rare and honestly beautiful. There is something very encouraging about realizing you can get through familiar tunes with just C, F, and G. It made practice feel more fun and a lot less like homework. I had one of those moments where I played something recognizable and immediately looked around the room like I was expecting applause from an invisible audience. That kind of confidence boost is half the reason to buy a book like this in the first place. I also appreciate that it keeps things enjoyable for casual players. Sometimes beginner music books can feel a little too dry or overly basic, but this one hits a nice balance. It is simple without feeling childish, and it gives you enough songs to keep things interesting. That matters because if I get bored, I will absolutely drift away and start doing literally anything else. With this, I actually wanted to keep flipping through and trying more songs. It feels like a great way to build confidence, get comfortable with chord changes, and spend time at the keyboard without turning it into a full emotional event. Overall, I have been really happy with this book. It makes learning feel doable, fun, and weirdly rewarding, even if your current skill level is somewhere between beginner and enthusiastic button presser. For me, it has been a great reminder that making music does not have to be complicated to be enjoyable. Review: Value - This is excellent for learners like me

Disappointed
Songs were easy to play. Large print. Suggested registration, rhythm and tempo. But I was disappointed as only a few lines of each song. Not the full song What a shame

Parfait pour les débutants.
Chansons jouer avec seulement 3 accords. Cela est parfait pour les débutants ou pour les personnes qui comme moi n'ont pas joué depuis longtemps. Facile à lire, je recommande !

Best thing I've bought to help me learn my electronic keyboard
Great, ... simple, and full instructions on how to choose what rhythm (Style) and Instrument (Voice) on my Yamaha electronic keyboard. Most of the other music books that I purchased were for Piano, and lack the instructions for the proper use of an electronic keyboard...for a beginner. All of the songs only use three chords ( I use the "One Finger Chord Method") and I can play just about anything in this book after some practice. Well worth the money!
