Heavy duty, comfort insoles help when you're on your feet all day
I bought these insoles for my husband because he's in construction and he's basically on his feet all day. They really do make his feet have the arch support that he needs. They're adjustable to fit his shoes. They're soft and provide comfort. They stay put and don't move around or roll up. He said his feet feels better having the arch support. Many work boots do not have that. They work even in his gym shoes

Repeat user of these
These are the best insole i've used. I'm a big dude, about 300 lbs. They make my boots comfortable. The insoles lasted for about 6-8 months in my daily wear work shoes before i could tell they were not as supportive any more (my foot, ankle, knee, and back pain started to come back). The pains cleared up in a couple days. Easy to trim. I had a prior insole to copy and they fit perfect. The sizing seems spot on, but i'm at the smaller end of this insole so i have to trim a fair bit. Size 12-13.5 I have used Spenco's gel insoles before which wore out faster and were less comfortable.

Thicker than most, less arch support than most
Got these today, trimmed them up, and took a walk. Seem to be pretty thick, so I’m hoping it helps alleviate the foot pain from 12+ hrs day in my boots. I gave it 4 out of 5 stars, because I have long, skinny, narrow, flat feet. These insoles help fill some volume due to my low volume foot, but has very little arch support and a low heel cup. I prefer a bit of arch support to help align my flat foot, but I also need the thick insole to take up the volume. If they had one for both concerns, it would be nice. These are very thick compared to most insoles, however I don’t see any real difference between them and a basic insole as far as cushioning type technology. Granted I’m not a foot expert or dr of any kind, I am the owner of about 8 types of work boots with varying types of insoles. If you have a pair or red wing, red colored insoles, I’d keep those as they’re basically the same thing. Little better than my Ariat factory insoles, and much thicker than my Thorogood factory insole. See how they treat me in about 6 months, but for now they seem to serve their purpose, and definitely are a cheap option compared to some of the other kinds available. **Almost 4 year later update** Still using the same insoles. They’re starting to wear down the surface material, but essentially the same as day 1. Would definitely say I got my money’s worth! Opinions about thickness, arch support, etc., still remain. Can’t help but be surprised that they’ve held up so long. I do alternate boots, so I can’t say I’ve worn these every single day, but even every couple of days for 4 years is a lot of wear.

AWESOME! I can wear NORMAL SHOES AGAIN!
I have never found an insert that actually worked well enough to say my feet 'didn't hurt'- NOW I HAVE! They do take up a decent amount of space in the shoe, so ones that aren't very deep will likely not be able to accommodate them and your feet. I actually measured my shoes: I have 'thick' feet and my shoes that were only 2.5" deep (or less) will not work, 3" or more were perfect (measured without any insole). These take up about 1/2" of insole space, I could put my shoe's original insole on top of them- but they were far more comfortable without. I was truly amazed at the width difference between the two! I was certain I needed to trim the Polysorb insoles width-wise: NO WAY. These totally provide support to the sides of your feet that most 'retail' shoes do not. (Thus the discomfort when I added the original insole for 'extra' padding- my foot was wobbling in that extra space) I have always had to wear super expensive orthopedic shoes if I was going to be on my feet for much more than a run to the grocery store or so, at least if I wanted to be able to walk the next day anyway. Much more than an hour on my feet or two miles walking and I would be in agony. I do not have fallen or high arches, and I strongly recommend anyone having foot issues either go to a Dr, or at least do the 'wet foot' test to determine your type of arch. I thought I did have arch issues since it was the arch of my foot that was KILLING me- but 'arch supports' were useless (and sometimes very painful). I have tried nearly all of the 'walking shoes' on the mainstream market (Sketchers, Nike, Reebok, etc.) and each lead to horrific pain so they sat in my closet. I promptly put these inserts in within 20 minutes of their arrival- NO PAIN whatsoever. I have not put them to the ultimate test: I work at a school so I spend 6 hours a day on hard surfaces and I walk 3-4 miles/day, but I have done enough walking to say that these make a HUGE difference: I have worn orthopedics ONCE since they arrived (and that was because I really wanted to wear sandles that day).

Perfect Workhorse Insoles
These go in every pair of shoes I own. I keep a pair around to replace worn out ones or go into new shoes as needed at all times. I've worked as a valet for the past 5 years, and these are indispensable to me at work. I buy quality shoes, but the insoles even in them only go so far. I've tried a few different inserts, etc. but these work. After 10-12, and occasionally more hours standing, walking, running, sure my feet are tired, but not the sharp pain I'd get before. I've put these in work boots, hiking shoes, and somewhat dressy shoes with outdoor tread. These are shoes from Chippewa, Irish Setter, Timberland, Danner, Wolverine, Merrill. All of them have been more comfortable with these insoles. Keep in mind that these will generally take up more space than the stock insoles, and make your shoe tighter. Depending on the shoe and how it fits, I sometimes break the shoe in before putting these in, at which point it fits more like when new. Overall, these are a fantastic, durable increase in comfort for just about any shoe. If you have custom built, perfectly fitted shoes, you probably don't need them. If you buy your shoes at Payless and spend most of the day sitting, you're probably also fine. But if you spend the day on your feet, even if you buy good shoes to begin with, these are more than worth the money. Expect at least a year of service from these for work only, and no less than 6 months if you wear one set of shoes heavily, for everything, in that period. I've done it. Finally, I do have fairly strong arches, and don't need much if any arch support. There is some built into these, but I can't really comment on its effectiveness.

Not What They Use to Be
I have purchased many times in the past with great results. They have definitely diminished in quality. I am using in a pair of work boots. They are so thin it’s very difficult to insert in a new set of boots. For the price based on the quality I see they are now equal to a cheep pair of Dr. Scholls inserts

I didn't realize how much I enjoyed these.
Amazon claims I've bought these 3 times, but searching my order history only shows the last 2, with the last being a week ago, and the previous time 2 years & 9 months ago. I was checking my order history, because I remember these were a fast solution to foot pain I was having back when they were first recommended to me, but the subscribe and save price is tempting, and I didn't know how often I might need them... Feet were hurting again and in the same way they were years ago, even though I had recently bought new shoes, so I thought I'd try these again, and within hours, my foot pain was gone. When I first experienced this pain, I went to a podiatrist, and his first reaction was to try to exercise my health insurance by operating on my feet... I got a 2nd opinion from an orthopedic surgeon, who said "My feet haven't changed/the extra bones in my toe joints have been with me all my life, so cutting them out is NOT the best course of action - I'd be better off with these inserts and foot/toe exercises. I ordered them then, started PT for my toes & feet, and 4 days later, I was wearing these insoles for the first time. My pains went away almost immediately (and I started slacking off on the toe/foot exercises). It took nearly 3 years for me to wear out the last set of these enough that it bothered me bad enough to look for solutions, so I don't think I'll subscribe, just order a few spares to have on hand, for when my feed hurt again, and then restock my shelf as needed. Either way, these WORK, or at least they did for me and very well!
