Not perfect, but it works. C'mon... $15!
I wanted to buy a beautiful Zacuto, or AT LEAST an LCDVF, but I am a low-budget film/video maker. Let me rephrase that. A NO-budget film/video maker. This thing works just fine on my T3i. Not the most amazing quality in the world as far as build goes, but COME ON... It's $15! I wasn't about to pay $200 for a piece of plastic and a small glass magnifier. This thing makes the LCD much bigger. I can now get perfect focus on any subject, even when shooting at F1.8. (Side note: Download Magic Lantern and use the Magic Zoom feature. Trust me.) Eventually, I may upgrade to a nicer model, but this thing will sure do the trick for awhile. It even works well when mounted on my tripod. Just buy it. It's not even an investment. Same price as 2 fast food runs to get much better focus results on your footage. Shoot like a champion, world!

It's ok...
It's not bad for the price, but the magnets are a little stronger than the adhesive on the mounting ring, so it tends to pull off the ring when you try to remove it. Also, I could use a diopter adjustment as my eyes are getting a little old.

It's cheap, you might have to hack it a bit...
It's cheap, you might have to hack it a bit, but if you don't mind having a metal ring superglued to your lcd screen, then it's amazing.Ok, so the adhesives are crap and the metal magnet frame thing didn't stay attached to the screen. So I took some superglue and glued the frame to my screen (horror of horrors I know). Since the viewfinder is magnetic, I can simply take it off or on (apart from the magnet frame which I glued on) and it's very versatile. However, since I glued it to the screen on my t3i (600d) I can no longer flip the screen around backwards so that it is not showing; but this isn't really a problem, because how many people actually fold in their screen? After using it for a couple months, and dropping it several times, the eye piece needed to be glued to the lens of the viewfinder; that was also not a problem.Oh yeah, it blocks out the sun well and magnifies the image like expected, but the image is still whatever resolution your lcd screen is, so you'll see the pixels.

Cheap in so many ways
The magnets were not glued properly and it sticked out on the first use. I have a t2i and the frame was offset to the right, so I couldn't see the whole frame and block the buttons. Simply bad quality at all.

NICE FOR SOME CAMERAS
For cameras that already have a viewfinder, this is just extra baggage to carry around - unlesss they need to have a magnified viewer. For cameras with only a 3" LCD screen, and no viewfinder, this type of attachment is very useful for catching better action shots and for seeing the subject being photographed at a higher magnification. Users will see more detail before shoting their picturess and action shots will be better composed. For me, it's just a novelty I'm playing around with. I don't even have any of the cameras for which this one was designed. I do have a spare camera that I keep in the car that has only a 3" screen. I can easily hold the viewfinder in place as I hold the camera steady to take the shot. It's actually no bother to do this.I think this device would be useful for many people who use pocket cameras - if they were available in sizes that fit.

Get this one until you can afford a better one.
Nothing special but it keeps the glare off my T3i's LCD screen. Mild magnification. Quality is adequate. It works for a lot less cash than the alternatives. Get this one until you can afford a better one.

Magnet too weak to hold on
The magnet was very weak. I can't get it to stay at all. Too bad as I had a previous version that worked well until it broke.

Great Viewfinder
This came in the mail WAAAAAAYYY before the scheduled date...like about a week in advance. I had my first music video shoot the day it came in so you can imagine how extremely happy I was to have this on site. It's kind of big, but not to the point of ridiculousness, I love not having to glue anything to my camera...that was really irking me (the possibility of having to do that). The magnets that connect the viewfinder to the bracket are VERY strong. This is well worth the price, buy it now...you will be happy with the purchase. Buy it...now...buy it....buy it. Prolly the best $15 I've spent on an accessory. BUY IT.
