Moon (The Dragon Prince Novel #1)

Really good book, it contains a lot more detail compared to the Netflix adaptation for season 1. Details such as including the thoughts of the characters, certain scenes playing out a little differently, and more dialogue between characters. It adds much more depth to the intentions and through the processes of each character, things you will not find in Season 1 alone. If you enjoyed Season 1, you are morally obligated to read this, even if reading is not one of your hobbies.

I bought it because I've been a fan of the show since season 1 first aired, and wished to support it in some other way beside rewatching it over and over again lolHonestly I didn't really expect it to add much to what was already included in season 1, but I was wrong. There are extra insights to characters' thoughts and behaviors that clear up most ambiguity, which I found quite interesting. Viren is one such character, as I'd definitely misread some of his actions.The book is well written (much like the show itself), and I highly recommend it even if someone has never watched nor heard of the show before. (And let me tell you, if you've ever liked ATLA, you'll most definitely like The Dragon Prince, just give it a chance!)
