Genuine E3D Hemera 1.75mm 24V Direct Kit

I run a production environment that deals with flexible materials and even other direct drive extruders dont even compare. I have put these on 3 of my machines now and in the process of upgrading the others... i have had 0, yes 0 failure to feed or feed issues and my prints are coming out better than expected. Stringing is a thing of the past. If you're familiar with tpu, that alone is worth it. With my titan aero, i can complete 2/3 batches, and then get a jam internally that requires me to actually disassemble and reassemble it. I have NEVER had to do that with this. I simply cannot recommend this enough. Bravo E3D!!!!!!

Really a lot of work getting it on my 3D printer

Replaced the Titan on my cr10-v3 with this and it's the best mod I could have done. Prints so nicely and consistent.

A quick check of the received product looked ok, put it back until time to install, unfortunately I shouldn't have waited 3 months, upon attempt to install I see that the hot side block was stripped, the nozzle broken and the connecting heat break had been slightly bent. The plug for the stepper had a broken wire at one end and a trace of plastic melt on the other. Whether a return or a pull this was USED equipment. -

The media could not be loaded. Hemera is a premium extruder, but after three weeks it failed, the motor began to whistle loudly and the gears creaked, then the printed models were of horrible quality and I returned them because E3D service was not efficient.

Bought this to upgrade my Ender 5 Plus. While the installation process is far from trivial, it is definitely worth the cost and effort. Print quality and speed have both improved tremendously.

Top of the line direct drive extruder at the moment. I got an early model with the Hermes name etched on it but have not run into any problems and I've printed about 10 lbs of filament with it so far. When its dialed in, its delightful. Getting your grubby paws on one right now is difficult but hopefully manufacturing will kick back up soon.I have yet to print any flex with it due to the current climate and supply shortages but I do not expect any problems according to some people I have spoke with.

The print quality is great, but fabrication required. I installed this on an Ender 5+ to print softer materials. Everything works great, but it was a long process with a lot of trial and error. It's heavy and I had to slow my acceleration and deceleration times, which increases print time. Be prepared to "tinker" with lots of things.
