Genius! When all seemed lost, we found this spare part!
You have to love the mission of this company. Our IKEA fitted dishwasher door had broken off - their weak hinge part snapping for the third time in its 12 years - and when we found that IKEA have discontinued the spare part we needed, we were facing a major outlay. When we found this spare part online, at first it didn't look exactly what we needed, because it wasn't the same shape as the broken hinge part; thankfully we looked closer and realised that THING'S 2ND LIFE have reimagined the hinge to produce a stronger version. The pricing and delivery, very good. Clear instructions which make sense. We have re-fitted the door and our kitchen looks great again. Fantastic product and service, it really has given our dishwasher door a second life!

Just excellent! Saves buying a whole new fitting kit
I broke the original part when my hand slipped while fitting the dishwasher door. For this one small plastic part, I was looking at having to spend £78 on a whole new replacement. IKEA door fitting kit. I’d only use the one part and throw the rest away. Ridiculous. This 3-D printed part is far more robust than the original, comes with the instructions on how to avoid breakage, and fits perfectly. Don’t hesitate. This is the more sustainable way to deliver spares.

Excellent fix for IKEA Behjahplig
Superb. Brilliant fix for broken plastic parts of Behjalplig IKEA integrated dishwasher door fixings. Much better quality build than originals. Highly recommend Thing's2ndLife, shipped very quickly from Germany via Amazon

Fantastic replacement for broken IKEA parts
When the panel of our integrated Hotpoint dishwasher fell off, I thought it was going to be a costly repair. IKEA weren’t much help, but after a search on Amazon I discovered these brilliant door fixings. They work perfectly and are a lot more solid than the original IKEA fixings. I am very impressed. Thank you for producing these.

Expensive but does the job better than the original
Great instructions and they feel stronger and better made than the originals. The instructions also have tips as to why they may have snapped in the first place so really comprehensive service.

Poor Quality
It is poor quality and broke just one day after installation. It looks like it was made with a 3D printer.

Easy repair to do
Brilliant. When my daughter stood on the door and snapped the hinges my heart sank as I knew it was going to be a nightmare to get the part from IKEA. Out of stock everywhere! Great idea to 3D print these and improve on the strength! All back together again . Easy to do as well 10 mins tops

Wo IKEA nicht mehr weiterhelfen will, tolles Produkt
Das Produkt ist simpel und einfach, erfüllt voll seinen Zweck und schon geht die Küchenfront wieder an die Spülmaschine. Nachdem IKEA keine Ahnung haben will, was das Problem ist und am liebsten eine neue Küche verkaufen möchte, bin ich froh, dafür eine Lösung gefunden zu haben. Bin offensichtlich nicht der Einzige. Der Gleiter passt an die Schiene, wobei das Einsetzen mit den Federn knifflig war. Alles bestens.

Ricambi perfetti!
Ho una cucina Ikea con anta lavastoviglie adattata alla mia...sistema macchinoso e fragile che ovviamente con l'uso di è rotto. Chiamato il servizio assistenza Ikea ..nulla da fare...hanno cambiato il sistema (logico perché era veramente pessimo...)... alternativa...cambiare tutto....poi ho provato a cercare su Amazon...e devo dire che è stata una scelta vincente...sostituito il pezzo e anche altri due che incominciavano ad avere segni di usura. Il top! Funziona perfettamente come nuova! Ho visto commenti sul costo elevato rispetto ad Ikea ma devo dire che intanto sono migliori come qualità...e poi immagino vi siano costi per una produzione limitata. Consiglio assolutamente.

Très bon produit de remplacement. Meilleur que l'original
Fonctionne très bien en réparation de porte de Lave Vaisselle IKEA HJALPSAM 911 079 003 made by ELECTROLUX. Fabriqué par une imprimante 3D en plastique très solide. Le résultat est plus solide car il n'y a plus de possibilité d’oscillation du système. La pièce est désormais monobloc. Bravo!
